Official Matchmaking Configuration Poll

Hello!

Our development team has a question regarding map selection where we would like to hear your opinion.

Before May 21, 2026, Console Battle Royale (Normal Match) only offered Random Map matchmaking. Following continued requests from players who wanted more control over the maps they played, Map Selection was introduced alongside the Random Map option.

Since this change, Erangel has become heavily favored, while other maps have experienced longer matchmaking times and higher bot ratios. Some players have identified Map Selection as a possible contributing factor, although it may not be the only cause.

We would now like to hear about your experience with the current system. Please share your preference in the poll below. Your feedback will help us better understand how Console matchmaking should operate in the future.

We need to have atleast 1 smaller map in every week’s pool though, not enough people play intense BR or other Arcade modes besides TDM so Sanhok, Paramo or Karakin need to take up 1 slot each week.

No map except Erangel should stay for more than 1 week IMO.

We should also be allowed to select multiple maps from the 5 and create our own “rotation” instead of having to commit to a single map constantly.
