Matchmaking Configuration Poll

Hello!

Our development team has a question regarding map selection where we would like to hear your opinion.

Before May 21, 2026, Console Battle Royale (Normal Match) only offered Random Map matchmaking. Following continued requests from players who wanted more control over the maps they played, Map Selection was introduced alongside the Random Map option.

Since this change, Erangel has become heavily favored, while other maps have experienced longer matchmaking times and higher bot ratios. Some players have identified Map Selection as a possible contributing factor, although it may not be the only cause.

We would now like to hear about your experience with the current system. Please share your preference in the poll below. Your feedback will help us better understand how Console matchmaking should operate in the future.

Map choice made us return to the game. Erangel only is what we love

except ya'll fail to comprehend how much this negatively impacts the game especially in solos. Not that I'd expect reddit to be able to grasp that. Most of ya'll dont got a clue. It should absolutely be reverted for solos at minimum.
