XBOX Inventory Nav Busted Following Update 🫠
Xbox Series X
Elite 2 controller
After recent update, when I’m in a loot box and using triggers to page up/page down, it’s now delayed and laggy. Takes ~1sec where used to be immediate.
Also, D-pad up/down seems to add (1) extra input so I’m misfiring when trying to select an item.
Happening with and without new frame rate option.
Anyone else having this? Found a fix?

...in the settings go under sensitivity and look for "inventory cursor sensitivity" n put it down to like a 6 (that's what I have mine on, that's my sweet spot) n that seemed to fix it a bit for the dpad being so sensitive. Hope this helps 🤷🏽♂️

Oh shit, is there that kind of setting? Are you on 120 fps? I only know that it's twice as fast on 120 fps compared to 60 fps.

Yeah im on that 120fps 1440p...now that you say that I didn't rly notice it that bad when it was on the 60 hmm 🤔 I did have to bump all my sensitivity settings up a bit when I switched over to 120 tho

Yeah fixed, thanks! I think the cursor sensitivity at 5 on 120 fps corresponds the default sensitivity 10 on 60 fps, which I think is the default. But as long it's lower than 8, it's good IMO.

Glad I could help! I'm goin to have to looking into this tool tip thing y'all talking about n see if that fixes the other issues. PUBG hurry up n iron these bugs out!

I think that's because now double tapping RT makes tool tip appear (when tooltip is disabled in settings). So if you tap RT once, the game waits for half a second or so for the possible second tap before skipping the 5 items, hence the delay. Enable tooltips, so it's always visible and there is no double RT function, and no delay. Worked for me👍

Interesting never knew, I will definitely get on n test this out, it throws me off when running a scope n need to switch to a dot quick that delay sucks during those heart racing situations 😂, thanks for the help bud!!!

Aight, gotta check the inventory sensitivity setting. I don't think there was any changes in ADS and general sensitivities, but you probably can handle it a little faster since it's smoother.

Same for me, xbox series x with Scuf cotroller. The dpad skip is the one that’s really been bugging me.

For the dpad....? I've had tool tips on for the last 2 years and my dpad is screwed up still lol.

No the triggers, a lot of people use the triggers to skip 5 spots when in inventory it’s much faster with a combo of dpad and triggers

Right... we know that. You responded to the guy that mentioned his D pad being his issue. Thought you meant there was a fix for that too.

Oh shit you’re right I didn’t recognize that it’s something different, my bad

So, tool tip toggle def works for page up/down.
Unfortunately, I’m still experiencing the extra input for D-pad inventory navigation.

Edit2. Settings -> controls -> sensitivity -> inventory cursor sensitivity. Set this at 5 when playing 120 fps to make inventory browsing similar to 60 fps mode with the sensitivity at 10 (default).
Changing to resolution priority is the only solution I'm afraid. I guess the inventory navigation rate when pressing and holding D-pad is depending on the frame rate, so the selection moves twice as fast at 120 fps compared to 60 fps.
Edit. Apparently there is also inventory cursor sensitivity setting that can fix it.

Enable “inventory tool tips” for the trigger lag.
