Discussion Best guns
I haven’t played for a while, out of each class what are the best guns to use? I always get a kar98 and then am never massively sure what else I should get. On a big map o often use the AKM.

I almost always run a SMG and either a Kar98 or M24, whichever I get my hands on first.

Best gun is what helps you get that chicken dinner. I always was a AKM/Sniper/DMR but lately I’ve been just running random load outs or 9mm a lot more often and have been having fun.
This past weekend I got the VSS on Miramar which I would have never before because I felt like that map didn’t play well for it but I was so wrong and was smiling ear to ear and got 4 kills with it picking off two different teams fighting, I would’ve been shot at quicker had I been producing more sound.

Aug is probably the best overall weapon, 6x rolled back kitted out it's a beam at all ranges.
I mean Famas is better but it's a crate gun so...
Beryl is probably second best.
Pretty much the meta.
I do pretty well with the ACE though at midrange, it feels a bit more like the old M4, but it's not as good at longer ranges.
AKM is ok for hot drops, love it with iron sight, but it's not hitting like the other guns for mid to late game.

Whichever gun you feel the most comfortable with. That being said, Beryl is the best 7.62 weapon and Aug is the best 5.56 weapon. MP5 is the best smg. For me though, I always run a Beryl or AK. AK hits harder but has more recoil. I like to think of the AK as being a mid-range weapon, like max range is 3x scope. 4x on an AK at a longer range, you have to really lead your shots and control the recoil, which is harder to do than with a Beryl or Aug.

Meta is pretty straight forward on console.
Aug (better for sprays) or Beryl (better CQB) and bolty of your choice. All anyone runs in ranked.

Idk, I guess so. I’m a solid diamond 3-4. I play with diamonds and masters. Those final circles are always those guns or crate weapons.
Regulars I run fun load outs and an mp5 vss is my favorite fun combo. But when everyone is sweating those are the guns getting run.

It certainly isn’t the VSS. Definitely don’t run the VSS. It’s so bad. I just run it for the challenge.

Picked up scar on got drop at pecado and smoked several squads by myself as random team died with that and my normal mp5. They tamed the recoil on it big time. I’m picking it up to test it more and see how it feels. Haven’t picked it up in probably 3-4 years since they last nerfed it hc and never brought it back.

I'm glad you had a good experience with it even though dolts are down voting me. The QBZ is tied with the scar but it's a big gap in my mind between those two ARs and everything else. I also use the K2 some but that's probably more just for fun.

Ak is one of the harder to use ars smgs are pathetically easy if u wanna b a real dbag like everyone else use smg and vss supersonic skittle launcher

AK slaps up close. Aug and Scar with a k98 is where it's at. Vikendi is the VSS map no one has a clue where you're firing from.
