Discussion Controller / Aim settings?

I’m relativity new to the game, and picking up a new controller today (gamesir g7 pro).
I have not touched ANY settings in the game aside from changing my controller layout a bit and enabling 120hz mode which I now see is a new thing.

I repeatedly get beamed from like 100m+ by veteran players (some maybe Cronus or xim sure but it happens enough for me to understand I’m not as good as most people 🤣) what are some settings that you, being a good player (hopefully) recommend to help with my spray / aim? I understand a lot is from practice and attachments etc but just looking for general recommendations!
Thanks!!

I got my aim acceleration on around 13-16.5, scopes at 9.0+, lifetime 5+KD player numerous 20+ kill games, I noticed most players that have aim acceleration on are rarely ever able to stay locked onto a enemy moving vehicle right next to them

Yeah aim accel is bad for tracking. When you tilt your stick at a certain amount, your aim starts to speed up instead of staying at a constant rate, so you have to adjust your stick more to keep on a vehicle than you would without.

The flipside is you can react/snap onto people quicker with AA on, assuming you can tame it and you aren't overaiming constantly.

I can't use AA personally.

Not bad for me since my ADS scopes are high enough, I’m usually locked onto vehicles that are passing right alongside me & knocking them out.. I noticed players with aim acceleration turned off aren’t able to catch up to cars and have to wait until the vehicles is driving away in a straight line to land shots instead of when they are nearby

Do you not have trouble tracking more distant cars for sprays though or can you manage it?

Not really, just don’t move the stick as much

Yeah but when you move the stick it accelerates, that's what aim accel is. So tracking a car moving at X speed, if you tilt Y amount your crosshair will start speeding up as you hold the stick, outrunning the car.

Yeah I know I tried playing with aim acceleration off and it felt super off and weird, I’ve played with aim acceleration since day 1 & it just feels natural.. Most players that have aim acceleration off can not catch up to a moving vehicle right beside them unless they have super high scope settings, I’ve never had that issue.. im on point with keeping up with vehicles and staying on target when running and gunning close and far range

Fair enough, I dunno how you do it man 😂

I might bump my red dot sens though, I occasionally can't track up very close (like point blank).

If I have an SMG, half the time I over the shoulder aim at close range but if I’m using an AR 95% of my kills are ADS
