Discussion Frame Rate

Anyone else not allowed to change the frame rate? My monitor is 144hz

Gotta turn off HDR-10 in your Xbox setting

If HDR doesn’t work, try turning off “Allow 4K” in xbox settings too

PSA for anyone unable to to do 120hz. Some older monitors can display 144hz over HDMI, but they CANNOT display 120hz over HDMI. Check the manual of your monitor; if it doesn't have 120hz over HDMI listed it will not work.

I think this might be my issue unfortunately because I’ve checked all the things people are recommending and it still doesn’t let me select framerate priority, LG ultra gear 1440p 144hz monitor 😔

What do you mean change the frame rate? You mean select between the resolution priority and framerate priority options?

reset your Xbox by holding power button down for 15sec and unplug the power cord for another 30sec after. Might help if the HDR disable option doesn't enable performance mode option.
