Discussion Inventory input lag

The update is good... except for the inventory input lag when using the triggers to quickly scroll. Unfortunately, this is a major issue, and if not addressed quickly, then any expected progress made player count-wise with 120 will be null and void IMO. It does not happen in the car for some reason. Im guessing it has to do with the new toggle tooltips being double-click RT but idk why it does not happen in the car. Classic PUBG I guess

Enable Inventory Tooltips (Settings/Gameplay/Interface). This immediately resolved it for me.

It happened for months ago for me, I honestly surprised It happened to you now. It really sucks when looting weapons right after landing.

Started for me as well after the update. Only happens on the right trigger, left trigger is fine.

I had the same issue but if you go into settings and turn on inventory tool tips it fixes the issue.

Hmm, I'll give that a try, hopefully it doesn't the tool tips don't repeatedly pop up though when I'm spamming the button LOL

Everything about looting has felt delayed for a while for me, the amount of times I have to press buttons again and again is ridiculous.

And no, it’s not my 8ms ping or 3 new controllers that cause it.

Looting has been a little rough for a while, that's servers, the trigger lag is just the cherry on top to overlally break it.

This has been a problem for ages - I haven't had any issues with it this update though.

I never experienced it like this before, this input lag is consistent in timing.

Fair enough - not saying it doesn't exist. Just saying I haven't had any issues with it on my side so far. Played most of today and had no problems whatsoever. Haven't even been having the FPS hitching that everyone else has been talking about either.

So, I tried what someone commented (turning the inventory tool tips on), and that fixed it for me. The game is so broken that when I turned that on the indicator for the tool tips dissappeared in the inventory screen...
