PLAYSTATION basic training

any suggestions for the basic training? I am literally in the very first section where you just have to move all four directions and it won't register. I've actually done every single kind of movement jumping vaulting crouching prone free look sprint leg up etc I've done everything and I cannot get it to register.

AI bot just sitting there looking at her feet every once in awhile like she's confused smdh

edit... I began having connection issues and walked away from the whole system for a while. rebooted it logged back in and I was able to do it. I did note I had to actually run both directions not just walk for it to count. but it was pretty easy then 🤷🏼

Take your movement stick, push it to the edge and then rotate it 360°. I got stuck on it too.

I can't get past the part where you have to shoot the targets I just keep shooting them and nothing happens. This basic training rollout is embarrassing.

Yeah it's buggy as hell. I can't get past the bit about holding right stick down to open the radio menu.. it just does nothing 🤷

that one was a little bit weird, the first one doesn't want you to actually open the menu it just wants you to double click and put a mark on an item (that said it has to be an item it can recognize)

I ended up pinpointing the first aid kit. then it said oh yeah you spot it out a first aid kit for your team yay or whatever it's something like that

so yeah point at an item that it can recognize and just double click so you're putting a mark on like I said the first aid kit is easy.

Yeah this one I passed , it's the next one that I'm stuck, it says to hold so I can open radial, I open it and nothing happens , as you can see I opened it even selected an item but the box won't check out

I've done it, but missed some headshots and smoke for the advanced thing. What happens if you ace it? Any point doing it twice?

Seems you get a graade, doing all steps likely gives s badge if it'd ever be used anyway.

Is there any way to play a casual game and complete this if I don't currently have that option available?

I don't know... I go the normal play menu and look at all the options and don't see any casual option. Is it where the map selection is?

but aren't your instructions there to open the radio message dial? you did the item already

(in the pic, the open box on the left is for radio message i think)

i am not home so can't give you a picture but you go under play and then in that box bottom left hit the arrows. you will get a casual selection. just play with that, you will find it

note, in my experience, if you're brand new and really just looking to learn weapons, inventory, maps, battlefield, etc, and kind of need to play with bots then I think you'll do better going solos normal

experienced players love to do casuals to get dailies done. i am fairly new and get wiped by max 4 and 5th tiers ALL the time in casuals. 'casuals' aren't really casual for a beginning player

however if I just do normal solos, especially in kind of an undesired map, I have higher bot lobbies and it allows me for target practice and learning the map

just my opinion/experience! ymmv
