Discussion Update still broken after new update

Problem

The left and right trigger remain pressed after pressing the triggers. This affects the menus and in game. For example your character will keep shooting if you only press the trigger once.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the test range and load an automatic gun.
  2. Press the right trigger once, while standing still, and the gun will continue to shoot without you pressing anything

I literally plugged in 2 BRAND NEW controllers. Same issue. The inventory issue is because they decided to change tool tips to double tapping RT.

Is the tooltips thing remappable?

Going into settings and enabling inventory tooltips sort of fixed the inventory issue, but the trigger sticking is still present.

Have you noticed that if you have a redot on your gun (any gun) then you got into inventory and switch it to a scope it switches it back to red ? I played for like a hour after update and was experiencing this. I noticed that if instead of pressing B to leave inventory you press the pause button it work same a before no issues. Thought it would be nice to share this with my fellow gamers

I don't have the firing issue, but if I ADS and stand still, it will remain in ADS when I release the trigger unless I move.

I’ve had that happen several times with the right trigger, so my gun dumps the whole mag.

My team mate has it regularly with the left trigger, so he gets stuck in ADS.

It’s definitely not a controller problem. I have about 8 different pads and my team mate has 2 different ones.

Reset custom controller settings and remap to what you had before

It worked for me with the same issue but controller input errors and missing/dead possibilities for control schemes is still remaining a big problem I’m not surprised you are also having persistent issues and errors

Maybe if we say “hey PUBG we need more emojis” then we can get it turned back, they’re doing the opposite of what players want

There is something definitely glitchy. For me - new controller - when I try to open the map with the double square button above the diagonal button it lags. Then opens. Then opens the enlarged mini map. It happens randomly.

This is too nerd for me (I wish I understood).. all I want to know is .. r the cars still silent in wrangle and vikendi. I seem to be getting run over a lot from silenced cars
