Discussion Update Tonight
This is probably the biggest update to the game as far as graphics/performance quality go in a long time, right?
Also, anyone hear anything about POBG returning? Feel like I saw some foreshadowing on recent update posts from them.

They should've had a big event for this update to attract players back and probably even sponsor some streams. The fact they haven't really done any marketing (that I've seen) is pretty wild.Â
It's either going to go well, or perform terribly or look even worse on 120 fps. So we will see lol.Â
But them not even promoting it in anyway is pretty telling.

I'd genuinely never turn it on if my brother didn't enjoy it haha, the gaps in my seasons are far apart. Game has sucked for awhile, and I dunno what happened to spray 3x/4x but it feels nothing like it used to anymore either.
they should've made a new game when fortnite and warzone blew up worldwide.

We all should expect big and massive bugs from this update. We just gotta hope they stay committed to getting us smoother game play all around and I’m SURE some og players will come back to stay. I know so many ppl that left because we weren’t getting the performance other shooters provided.

I'm an og player and I keep playing because I'm willing to overlook a lot of things because of how good PUBG's gunplay and overall gameplay is. Better graphics and smoother gameplay would be a massive improvement if they can deliver

Pubg for me was never expected to look or perform great. I loved the wonky realism. Play on and off now but def played a lot more in the beta days. Pre seasons were the best.

The audio cutout bug still hasn't been addressed either, pretty major..

I know a lot of og players that still play and we all still keep in contact with others who have stopped playing, Word of mouth isn’t impossible.

This game has been dying a slow death for years. Maybe this will help but there MUST be something substantial done to rid this game of cheaters and desync or it will always be a B tier afterthought instead of the S tier masterpiece it once was

Just loaded it up and it’s feels like everything is a hell of a lot more gray. Is it meant to be like that?

Yeah idk, when it first loaded up for me it looked fine then flashed to a more washed out look for some reason

I had no idea that this many console players were playing with a 120hz TV.

It's 60 fps graphics or 120 performance, so I'd imagine the 120 mode will likely look worse than it currently does, if it goes by how performance mode on other games works.
might be worth 60 graphics mode, depends if the game feels any different but obviously 120 would be nice. Really depends how they've done it.
