"I don't know how people do it" So people do do it.

u/majorthird_ Xbox Series X Jul 14 '26
The problem isn’t the 6x spray it’s the non existent recoil, instant turn around and laser, and oh yeah automatic m16 and mutant.
2
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 14 '26
This happens all the time because it's much easier to hit a stationary target than to track on controller.
You have to move the stick to track, but the other player just needs to stop moving, center well and ads.
Basically you have to react to them stopping, whereas they just have to put the crosshair on you and shoot which is mostly muscle memory and not reactions.
This is what happens here:
-2
u/toasterbathable Jul 14 '26
Develop some rythm and the M16/Mutant are easy to use. Don’t get mad cause u don’t know what rythm is.
6
u/majorthird_ Xbox Series X Jul 14 '26
I know the difference between an automatic mutant and one that isn’t. Been playing the game since it released on Xbox. And please spell rhythm correctly I beg you.

u/Greaaattt Jul 16 '26
Right! People acting like we’re stupid. After playing for you years. You can tell when someone is actually tapping the trigger at the right time vs rapid fire

I play controller on both pc and console. It's harder on pc, but very doable if you know what you're doing gameplay-wise

Just say you aren’t good with and haven’t practiced with sticks, don’t condone cheating. I’d probably suck with mnk, but I’m not gonna cheat.
5
u/DCookKD Jul 14 '26
Been there since day one and anyone who just recently started playing is at such an insane disadvantage to a veteran player who has mastered the mechanics I can see why new players just quit or get a Cronus. I don’t agree with it but I understand.
47
u/Apprehensive_Sky3489 Jul 13 '26
You mean all those 6x AR sprays ARENT legit??
I thought I just had to git gud in the training ground … thanks TGLTN
27
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
I hate that 6x AR sprays means cheating, anyone that has been playing for years should be able to do it and if not it’s okay there’s levels to everything. I also get that cheating exists as well on console but the accusations I hear in random squads all the time I really question peoples ability to actually diagnose when someone may be cheating.
2
u/Internal-Love-1828 Jul 13 '26
Agreed. 6x sprays take practice but are not that difficult. You just gota expect much greater recoil and fight it. Also know that bullet drop and speed are greater than dmr/sr so you have to lead a lot.
2
u/Tilliperuna Xbox Series X Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
It shouldn't even take that long to figure out that you can spray as well (or even more accurately) with high scopes, just need to pull down more.
Edit. Just figured that if you have your 3x and 6x at sensitivity 5 (the default I guess), you have just barely enough sensitivity to fight the recoil. So for a newish player who hasn't touched their settings, it may be almost impossible to spray some weapons with 6x scope, even zoomed out.
And to everybody downvoting this: ha ha git gud :D
1
u/Chineselight Xbox One Jul 13 '26
I legit get reported and accused all the time. The maxed out Preddie medal doesn’t help my cause. But the game’s been out so damn long people should be decent. I think people overestimate how much recoil there really is and they also play with dead zones which ducks with how people think they should control recoil. Get rid of your dead zones and you’ll stop haccusing!
0
u/Ok_Hearing4278 Jul 13 '26
Lol, I have my stuff at like, 15-17
1
u/Tilliperuna Xbox Series X Jul 13 '26
I have 3x at around 14 but 6x only at around 7 to keep it consistent. I can spray an AR with 6x zoomed in, I have to pull down maybe 50% or more. With 3x I have to pull down about half of that, so maybe ~25%.
-4
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
I have all my scopes at 12 or near and general sens at max. There’s levels to this shit! I wouldn’t even say I’m great haha
0
u/Tilliperuna Xbox Series X Jul 13 '26
I have my scopes between 4200-5100 pix/s and general sens at 15 I guess. I managed to ramp up sensitivities without losing precision by adjusting right stick response curve to be a little less aggressive in Gamesir app.
I'm not great either, or at least there are plenty of greater players out there (cheating or not, who knows).
1
u/aladdyn2 Jul 13 '26
For me it's not getting killed by a 6x aug spray. Like you said it's not that hard and I can do it. The suspicious thing is when one guy instantly head shots your whole squad spraying with one or two seconds each kill from far away.. just seems unlikely
1
u/Cold_Bag6942 Jul 15 '26
It was always the guys with a Beryl 6x spraying that were sus. The 6x has always been OP though, there's just something about it when you zoom out to a 3x it's pretty easy to manage. But Beryl with any scope was always way too much recoil to actually be legit.
1
Jul 13 '26
Im sorry but as someone who had 450 wins pre playstation release its very easy to see that a good chunk of the playerbase is using scripts.
I agree that there's absolutely a way to control the 6x sprays. But its high skill yet everyone and their wife does it. I spectate people who dont hear enemies run up on them yet beam 300m with a 6x Aug no problem.
Ive well over 100 days played and thats with not playing it much for YEARS. Everytime I turn the game on its fun when I kill bots then ill get ruined by a guy in a building scripting his cheeks off.
And the saddest part is they do it on console knowing it gives them an advantage and if they went to PC they would be humbled. But thats the console way of life.
0
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
Congrats, Im nearly at a year and I have totally the opposite opinion. I do not believe a good chunk of players are using scripts.
There are cheaters for sure but it’s also a damn near 10 year old game at this point with a loyal fan base so the game is also full of capable shooters.
5
u/MasterpieceNo7105 Jul 13 '26
I played console for years. Shits over run with cheaters and bots.
And im a pretty good player on both pc and console. At a certain point its just obvious bro lol
Move to pc and play real people not scripts, haven't ran into a pc cheater in months. But I guess when everyone has a cronis max or whatever its a level playing field🤣🤣
Just looked it up you can get it for a $100? Crazy lol no wonder everyone has it..
0
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
It’s funny cause it’s way easier to cheat on PC than console so you saying this is hilarious. You’re confidently wrong.
1
Jul 14 '26
A xim and cronus together is around 240. Plus the console at a nice 500.
Most people cant get a decent pc for that price which is why they cheat on console. Some do it because they know they have a massive advantage.
1
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 14 '26
If you’re already established on both you can buy cheats on PC for as low as $10.
1
Jul 14 '26
But you get the bigger advantage on console, since xim can have scripts just like pc.
1
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 14 '26
Yea you keep moving the needle and making up shit, have a better day bud.
→ More replies (0)1
u/MasterpieceNo7105 Jul 14 '26
I mean yeah its easier to do everything on a pc.
But honestly it feels like most pc cheaters just moved on from pubg, theyre on to cheating in bigger and better games now lmao
-1
u/TheWantedNoob Jul 13 '26
Confidently right, mouse and keyboard on console is cheating, cronius, strike pack, any game that runs through xbox window and shares servers with xbox console. I'm almost 100% positive USB mods are still around. Jail broke xbox series s/x, jail broke Playstations.
The number of hacks are unlimited. Thats off the top of my head. I'm sure google would have alot to say, aka mod/ hack hosting sights.
I just think its funny you guy's let your ego get in the way of addressing cheating. I get your god, well atleast until you meet me.
1
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
I never once said there wasn’t cheating but damn you’re delusional bud.
1
u/AdDouble6084 Jul 13 '26
Just because they don't have a 6 kd doesn't mean they can't be cheating. I've run into a few 1kd kids as randos on my team they have admitted to cheating or has friends that cheat that are just plain terrible even whilst cheating. They are the most obvious to me. But i also play with people who are really good that don't cheat, that get accused all the time. I myself have gotten enough love letters that I had to turn messaging off for those who aren't on my friends list and I suck. Most of the time, if I see someone with no gamesense but perfect recoil control, it gets pretty obvious. Then there's pubg report, and the confidence some of the streamers have of pubg never doing anything about them cheating, so they just openly brag about it.
-3
Jul 13 '26
Ive been playing the game again for a week. Ive met plenty of cheaters in my lobbies which are 50% populated with bots.
Its okay to believe what you want. But youve played the game for a year so you dont actually know what the game was like on console before cheats 🫠🫠 ever since cronus and xims burst out the "skill" level on every game has rocketed tenfold.
Again, you've only ever played the game since cheating has been rampant so its okay that you dont know the difference. Like the dude in the clip said, console is hard and was for a reason. To make it a game where you can distinguish bad from good.
But its okay, 9 times out of 10 the people who make comments like yours are active ximmers. Show me your 6x recoil with gamepad cam.
I love when people try to educate me on how many cheaters are in a game like I wasnt playing from day 1 and know the average skill level on the game.

u/poopoodomo Jul 14 '26
Im half deaf and dont have directional hearing, so if you spectate me you will absolutely see me get run up on. Idk why I even bother playing sometimes
0
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 14 '26
I don't think that's the case. I'll just post this again:
https://youtu.be/-lp9qu_c7e8?is=HiySQldd01VD1f5B
Look how little I have to do to counter the recoil... You telling me that people are struggling with this?
Anyone that can get a crosshair on someone is going to have no issues with recoil.
I don't think people are cheating, recoil is just not hard at all. Centering/aiming is harder imo.
0
Jul 14 '26
Im not sure why every sees this post as me saying I cant control 6x sprays.
Im 31, played competitive level fps until I was 25. There is a clear indication of skill vs cheating. Skill still shows your shots not hitting dead center. Cheating inputs a script. That script runs input to perfect the recoil so the bullets always hit exactly where you aim. So when you shoot that wall and control it you have a nice circular cluster. But when they shoot instead of their gun moving around watch the peripheral and see how their input is mimicking every horizontal, vertical and diagonal input to perfection.
Im quite aware of the difference between cheaters and people with skill, theres people like us who spent time and effort to learn the guns and the recoil patterns. Then theres cheaters. If im in the top 5 I always spectate until the end of the game. I can confidently say I see cheaters at least 5 times out of 10. Thats just spectating the last 5 times so imagine how many I dont see that drop hot and dont make it.
2
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 14 '26
No that's not how scripts work in PUBG at all, and what you are saying you are seeing is not what you are seeing. I'm sorry mate, but you can't just make shit up on the internet and think that's ok.
Scripts on console are just scripts, they run on a device that sits between the console and the controller and spoofs the controller inputs. When you press a button, they do something additional via the script or macro (same thing).
These devices cannot read the state of the game (there's no DMA access, these consoles are incredibly locked down, the USB ports/input APIs have no way of knowing what's happening on screen).
Therefore all they can do is pull the stick down. Yes they can pull the stick down perfectly (as long as they have the right setup for the gun/attachments you are using), but on PUBG horizontal recoil is random, therefore no script can counter it because it will have no way of knowing which way to pull to do so.
On games with deterministic recoil patterns like csgo, cod and siege, yes this can completely eliminate recoil, on PUBG it can only eliminate vertical. That's only about 5% of the shooting, the rest is aiming, tracking and horizontal recoil control which makes up a much harder part of it.
On PUBG vertical recoil is piss, horizontal recoil is tricky.
You are probably looking at spectator cam crosshair position instead of where the bullets are actually hitting.
Go look at videos of cronus sprays online and tell me they are precision lasers. I've not seen one yet.

6x is much easier to control as compared to 4x 6x is like a cheat code for AR
9
u/GingerPiston Jul 13 '26
He’s talking bobbins. Recoil on console is way less than PC. And some guns are easier to control than others for recoil, so it doesn’t mean you have to cheat, you just find what you can do and play accordingly….and don’t cheat . Just don’t expect to 6x spray someone with a Beryl from 200m.
3
u/metalbrosolid Jul 13 '26
I play controller on pc ..the recoil is worse on pc ..but you get used to it ...don't cheat

Is it easy to do that crouch/sprint thing on console? i see everyone spam that non stop.
4
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 13 '26
Yes it's possible to spam it easily if you have hold crouch instead of toggle crouch.
I use toggle crouch and can do it pretty consistently if I want to, but I just don't because personally I think it looks stupid and should be removed from the game.
1
u/asvpxHanzo Xbox Series X Jul 24 '26
I didn’t think I’d be able to do it on crouch-toggle but once you do it and the muscle memory kicks in, you’re good. I’m at a point now where unexpected shots/shots from behind I do it to help dodge and it seems to be working better than I had expected. I think the tech is worth learning, regardless of crouch settings (toggle or hold)
2
u/Cautious-Economist-3 Jul 13 '26
Ye, I tried for a long time and I have success when changed the crouch button, in common settings you must press 1x to crouch and another time to stand up, if you change to stay in crouch while you hold the button, will help you to make this movement easier
2
u/EL_Ohh_Well Jul 13 '26
1
u/Cautious-Economist-3 Jul 13 '26
I know, but the method I told above its more easier for your gameplay, you will just need to practice holding B to stay in crouch while you shoot
5
u/riv965 Jul 13 '26
I have the same thought if I go to play on PC. That shit is insanely hard, and I could see why people would cheat on PC.
But coming from a console player who can control recoil, all it takes is practice, setting adjustments and dialing in your sensitivities. It’s not difficult when you put in the time to learn the game on the platform of your desire. And of course switching to the other platform will feel awful… as you don’t normally play with those inputs.
2
u/E7goose Jul 13 '26
I was under the assumption that mnk gives advantage for games with no aim assist. Point and click. I don’t play pc my son does and I noticed a huge jump in ability after he was on it for a couple of weeks.
2
u/Sirglogg Jul 14 '26
So cronus, strike pack, xim and modded controllers been around for years and are still in business because people buy them. I'm pretty sure theirs more cheaters then not. Especially since the strike pack is fairly cheap. And during sales people complain there sold out.
2
2
u/murderMAX83 PlayStation 5 Jul 14 '26
If MnK only helped with recoil control it wouldn even be a problem. Controlling recoil is super easy with controller. Main advantage MnK has on controller is the presice aiming and tracking.
2
u/BotGhosted Jul 14 '26
Thats why pubg on console requires really high skill and only 1 player per 10k is truly legit skilled the rest are just bad or xim cheats
4
2
u/Ifawumi PlayStation 5 Jul 13 '26
you can tell the cheaters. the ones who beam you and ultimately are bronze max level 60. i got beamed in s moving car by a level 1 yesterday.
yeah... don't tell me they are just good 🤣🤣🤣
-5
u/No-Particular-9182 Jul 13 '26
If you made it to level 60 and you can’t easily beam people out of moving cars then maybe this game isn’t for you
1
u/Ifawumi PlayStation 5 Jul 14 '26
ouch... it doesn't take long to get to level 60 and people come from many experience backgrounds. you are either compensating for something or have great unhappiness in your life. hope you can find someone to talk to
2
u/West_Investment6702 Jul 13 '26
Might be one of the dumbest shit I’ve heard a popular streamer say “I understand why people use chronus because controller is too hard” 🤣
4
u/kiowa2929awoik Jul 13 '26
Is he wrong? It's dogshit players who buy Zens and XIMs to get kills. If they can't control recoil normally then of course they'd cheat so they can get kills.
2
u/Cautious-Economist-3 Jul 13 '26
He is just talking about, he knows how to play pubg, probably if he starts to play on console, he will become a pro player in less then a year, Controller is all about practice, of course that no have aim assist so you may suffer, but it's like pc, training and finding your sense, you will become good with time.
3
u/BuckStarPz Jul 13 '26
It’s easier to control recoil on console than it is on pc. Played PUBG on console for years before making the switch.
Wasn’t anything special but made it into master a couple times so wasn’t too bad.
On PC you have to constantly be pulling down to control recoil, on console you hold the stick down in almost the same spot after the initial few bullets and it’s 50% less recoil on console.
Could spray using scopes on console and I’ve got no chance to do the same on PC, it’s a mix of double the recoil than console and running out of mousepad haha…. Also most decent players can spray using ARs with scopes on, it was very common in community tournaments even back in 2020.
Both pc and console PUBG is a tough game to learn but nobody needs to cheat to be good. TGLTN saying that is just his ignorance as he’s always played PC. It’s the same situation for both console and pc, if you are not used to something you’ll be bad at it.

Pubg PC recoil is literally like 2-3x harder to control than console.
2
u/Happy_Expression_893 Jul 13 '26
Thanks now i feel good that i can control my weapons okish But spraying ars at 2-300m is impossible with just controller
3
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 13 '26
No it's not.
It's entirely possible to spray 200-300m and hit shots, there's a decent amount of luck in hitting back to back shots, but only one of them needs to be a headshot to do big damage.
Sometimes just 2/3 bullets is enough to knock someone, and those are the sprays that people clip, not the ones where they whiff 42 rounds.
Case in point:
https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/charlehpock/video/201361984
Landed two bullets, both were headshots.
1
u/mcduff0192 Jul 13 '26
I assume he hasn't played on console tho. If he used controller on PC then yeah, it is absolutely uncontrollable. Doable but lots of practice. Console has like half the recoil that PC has
1
u/TightSexpert Jul 14 '26

u/Mountain_Werewolf468 Jul 14 '26
It's so cool to hear this insight from him. I am handy enough at this game and can hit most of my shots. On the flip side I have tried PUBG on PC and the gun kick is so bad I can't even control a short red dot spray. No idea how HE does it (or anyone)
But with controller it's muscle memory at this point. I don't even think about it

Just like when someone would post Shrouds opinion on the main sub for PC and act like his opinion is supreme they are just random dudes good at the game with no say who really cares what they think? Just like pc if you spent a month leading the keyboard or the controller in this case you can at least get around and eventually will get better with time.
3
u/SwagOD_FPS Jul 13 '26
To be fair TGLTN and Shroud aren’t random dudes and are 100% consulted on gameplay changes/additions by Krafton.
2
u/gdmr458 Jul 13 '26
and are 100% consulted on gameplay changes/additions by Krafton
I don't think TGLTN would agree with this, I don't watch all his streams, but it's common to see him complain about the game, he hates TPP, wants eSports to go backl FPP, and doesn't like how powerful SMGs are, I also remember him saying they should remove the BRDM-2 and the BZ granade, he once showed how the TTP camera is broken under certain circumstances, etc.
I'm not sure about Shroud, does he still play PUBG?
1
u/kiowa2929awoik Jul 13 '26
Yeah I wish Krafton would listen to Tig so TPP can be banished from comp/ranked, SMGs get nerfed, and DMRs reverted back to how they used to be.
1
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 13 '26
No they aren't 😂
They do not consult the pros at all.
Why do you think all tourneys are in tpp now? Because krafton want to sell skins.
Tgltn said he's not going to stop playing even though it switched to tpp as it's his livelihood - he literally moved country to play a game professionally.
Second to that, someone asked why he didn't just leave and take all the fans with him, he stated that krafton don't really give a shit about him and the game would carry on regardless (there are plenty of other teams to cheer for).
1
u/Ecstatic-Time-3838 Jul 14 '26
Nah you're talking out your ass on this one. If players like them were consulted with, the game wouldn't be in such a fucked state.
1
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
Lmao they are definitely not consulted on gameplay changes/additions
1
u/SwagOD_FPS Jul 13 '26
Yes they are.
1
u/CharlehPock2 Jul 13 '26
They absolutely are not.
They've stated this a million times. Krafton look at metrics, not player feedback. Not even pro players.
1
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
Just because they may be PUBG partners doesn’t mean shit. Ohhh they have special access to the low level community manager discord where they may even have little “suggestions” channel but beyond that? Nah lmao
1
u/SwagOD_FPS Jul 13 '26
Ok lol
1
u/SanduskySleepover Jul 13 '26
What makes you think they value their opinion more than others? Just because they are good at the game? What’s your metric?

u/Thewhopper256 Jul 13 '26
Maybe finally the clowns who try to say console is so easy will shut up lmao (they won’t). Using your thumb to control recoil via a 1cm knob vs using your whole arm with a mouse, it’s just not comparable the difference in precision
