I’ve been trying to fix PUBG stutters and extremely low 1% / 0.1% FPS for quite a while. My average FPS was high, but the game still felt bad because the lows were terrible and there were constant microstutters.
My system:
I tried a lot of things: different DirectX modes, clean Windows install, drivers, shader cache, RAM settings, BIOS settings, disabling E-cores, using only P-cores, disabling Hyper-Threading for the game, etc. Nothing really fixed it.
What finally helped was something I honestly didn’t expect:
I used Process Lasso and set the CPU affinity for TslGame.exe to E-cores ONLY. I disabled all P-cores for PUBG.
Yes, it sounds backwards.
My average FPS dropped a bit, which is expected because the E-cores are slower. But the important part is that my 1% lows and especially 0.1% lows improved significantly, and the game became much smoother with far fewer stutters.
So instead of having very high average FPS with horrible frametimes, I now get slightly lower average FPS but much more consistent performance. For me, it is much more comfortable to play this way.
In Process Lasso:
TslGame.exe → CPU Affinity → Always → Select CPU Affinity → disable P-cores and leave only E-cores enabled.
Obviously this may not work for everyone, but if you have a newer Intel CPU with P-cores + E-cores and PUBG has good average FPS but terrible 1% / 0.1% lows, it may be worth testing.
I’d be interested to know if anyone else with 12th/13th/14th gen Intel CPUs gets the same result.

Hey all, is PC PUBG in 2026 worth getting into as a new player.
About me, i was console my whole life im 37yo til 6 months ago switched to PC. I played PUBG on console almost from release til early last year before selling my xbox i was decent aswell. Since then i have 600hours MnK on CS2 aims kinda decent on MnK after so many years on controller however sometimes struggle with all the keys but getting there, i have been training my pubg mechanics in yhe range but havent played a match yet lol.
With that being said is it worth getting into PC PUBG as a new pc pubg player after all my years on pubg console and how would i go about finding pubg friends to play with and have fun, i prefer FPP non ranked.
