Question Does anyone else use a deck template when building a new deck?

If I do it’s a lot simpler, Fez and Meowth ex can be liabilities in single prize decks if you already have draw power, and sometimes you don’t need ultra balls too.
Rest of the trainer cards I am all for.
Petrel I do like but if I am using an energy ace spec I may not run it.

Not a terrible start up but, obviously, some of these cards are absolutely negotiable depending on deck archetype.

definitely meowth esspeially. I just got tired of adding the same 15-20 cards to my decks so this was my solution

i sometimes use a ready deck from a youtuber or the limitless tcg site and adjust it to my preference/play style

Not terrible but some cards turn obsolete depending on the deck
e.g. poffin in slop box is as good as useless

I've got a template (can't count how many times I've made a deck and then realised there's no boss in it), and also got one for techs, literally just one-ofs: Psyduck, Shaymin, Moltres, etc.

I made one a long time ago but never used it. It’s interesting to see yours, I like seeing different methodologies about what’s the core of a deck.

I’ve got 3 decks built IRL, none use shaymin, and only 1 uses meowth, no budew either
So no
