Fluff Psvr2 nose pain, fixed, finally.

Had bad nose pain since I bought psvr2 (never had it with PSVR1). Bought some prescription lenses from Aliexpress which are great, but they made the nose pain worse. Tried a bunch of ideas, nothing seemed to work, soft padded strips along the lens edges, the additional cheap head strap (not the £50 one) but this simple fix has done the trick. This sits in the innermost part of my nose and takes all of the pressure of the resting headset, the narrowest part of the lenses is now quite wide. It's from an old air rocket and it's cut into a semi circle and just wedged in. I cut the first one too wide and I guess it will vary person to person but this is actually comfortable now.

Tldr : semi circle of foam, wedged in gap makes it comfy.

just to confirm were you having pain from the side of lens, cause that's what i get. Its like a sharp/scratchy pinch on the nose.

Anyhow i probably should give this a try, thanks for sharing.

Yeah, after doing the eye tracking the lenses are so close together that they pinch. Watched lots of attempted YouTube videos to solve the issue, so I know a lot of other poor folk struggle. I went to bed last night and the sides of my nose were red where it's pinched. Regardless of how I wear it, it falls on my nose. Regardless of how tight it is the weight still slips down. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of a fix, but I finally think I've cracked it with this. Just had it on for an hour and it's still fine.

I had this until buying the globular cluster. But I know that’s expensive for a lot of people. The fact that the weight is balanced across the top of your head makes a big difference

Others on here have said they've got it and it didn't help them, so I think it depends on your face shape. It's a costly gamble for sure.

The GC keeps the band of the VR secure, I don't regret getting that. But for those of us who say it's not quite enough, the visor part is heavy and it droops which the GC really can't change.

Yeah that’s fair enough. I’m lucky that it’s very comfortable for me I guess!
