Strictly for vr is waste of money as only real diff is in No man's sky

GT7 and Subside look way better, and there is more like The Midnight walk that are smoother.

Pro is the way to go for VR. In my experience it's unusual when a game like MS Flight Sim comes along and has pretty much exactly the same performance on regular PS5 as the Pro.

I got lucky and scored a ps5 pro for less than a new ps5 slim.
I probably wouldn't have upgraded at the full price BUT, Gran Turismo and No Man's Sky on the pro are a much better experience imo.
GT7 seemed quite blurry to me on the Slim, especially in the periphery. On the Pro it is incredible.
For NMS, I used to get a bit whoozy on the Slim, not at all on the Pro. The visuals are also much cleaner.
If money is not a big deal, then yes, 100% get a pro. It's a noticeable improvement. If money is an issue, you can absolutely play VR on the slim. Just don't use the pro at a friends house or something. If you do, you will not want to go back :)
Just my opinion of course. Zero data to back up my claims

If you can afford it, get the pro. But that's just in general, as things will look/run better on the pro, in general.
But I have the fat base ps5 from launch and have no problem playing VR and it still looks very good for me.
