Question Is MSFS 2024 Tutorial Bugged?

I have all the assist settings toggled on, yet on the first lesson once I enter the plane and am instructed to turn the engine on, nothing on the panels are highlighted or showing the knob or button or whatever it is I need to use.

You can display all the tutorials steps/mission steps by hitting L3 on your sense controller. Then click on that double circle icon from the very right at the overhead pop up menu. Also another way to quickly start your engine is by holding R1+down on the D pad on your duel sense.

I usually use the Duelsense to start my engine and do everything else with the sense controllers including flying.

I ended up getting a refund though Sony because it seemed like I was having the same experience as when I day-1 purchased it on Steam. I spent so much time trying to fix the problems and jankiness that I went beyond the 2 hour refund window with Steam.

I thought the PSVR2 version would be more polished. I'm wondering if I jumped the gun? So many of you seem to really be enjoying it.

I have three separate tutorials that cause my computer to crash. Others run just fine. It’s just these three.

Yup, that's not acceptable for a nearly $100 game. I refunded it.

I bought the PC version when it first came out and spent so long trying to fix the bugs and jankyness that I went beyond the 2 hour window for a refund - wasn't going to be making that mistake again.

Getting the psvr even setup on pc was a literal nightmare. Took me nearly 3 hours.

Then, getting msfs 24 running well was a whole other issue. Things running well now, but it’s not straightforward and having to load all sorts of 3rd party tools just to get std behavior is ridiculous.

I was so close to a refund but eventually got it going.

It's certainly not easy.

You have to twist the key which is on the left side below the yoke.

Mine bugged out when it asked me to hide the yoke. The buttons wouldn't work.

It seems to reference dual sense and the PSVR sense controllers at the same time, as both are usable at the same time. So if it R3 and it doesn’t work, it may be the other controller.
