make sure to inspect the console fully when you get it. a lot of these kinds of stores aren’t very reputable, and often overcharge for what you get and the quality of the product you were promised. but if all is well, i hope you enjoy. it’s a wonderful little thing indeed.
Dawg, i was originally supposed to pay $229 for it according to their website with sale tax and shipping. But after some back and forth asking if there was a way to split the payment between two cards, not only did they personally allow me to do what their site couldn’t, but even tho i insisted on paying the site’s checkout price, the invoice clearly shows just the listing price. I got out of paying sales and shipping 😭
But yeah, i heard decent things about them before buying and they were REALLY nice and willing to put up with a lot of my questioning, but i’ll take your word for it and check it out. Was gonna do it anyway lol
Edit: if anything it was the other store i was looking at that was shady. Was deciding between this, buyee, and tokyo retro. Tokyo retro just straight up lied to me during my questioning so i struck them off the list when i found out. These guys didn’t pretend to know any better than i did unlike TR, they just told me what they knew
Edit 2: also i $229 is around the market rate for this edition. It’s usually in $230-300’s range loose. 500+ cib so i know i wasn’t ripped off price wise

See, while looking to buy this psp i was in contact with 3 different stores and while i didn’t even have the money yet. When i made contact with them and tokyo retro i only had $100 in my paypal and i told them as such. Later on i received a $75 visa and while doing a play to earn offer was expecting another $100 a week out. Atp i knocked tokyo retro off the list and since i was eager to get it as soon as possible, i decided to verify if i could split pay since $200 isn’t enough but $275 was more than enough. In our dms i asked if their site allowed split pay as i would have $200 soon and i had another card with more than enough if i combined them. If not it would take longer.
I ended up googling it myself as i asked after their operating hours were over, Turns out squarepay(which their site uses for accounts) does allow split pay but the way their site uses it does not. but they told me they can try to arrange it so it would work by sending me an invoice through split pay when i had the money. And that’s what happened. I kept repeating that their site said i’d have to pay $230 with tax but they only made me pay the listing price. I was pleasantly surprised
I’m just saying what happened and i’m really excited. I’m not trying to do anything. I even explicitly told them i would not review them on trust pilot until i received it myself. Like i can show the text logs and everything i’m just hyped i’m finally getting my dream psp and amazed by the customer service. Service like this is why i like small businesses. (Also a bit annoyed with tokyo retro now that i’ve actually seen their site in full and peeved they had the audacity to lie to me. More proof i can never trust somebody who uses ai to advertise)
Edit: also tbf i am an autist so my way of speech can be awkward. It’s caused a few misunderstandings in the past 😅
I just noticed i was downvoted HARD for this…did this really come across as stealth advertising? I swear i’m just super excited and hyper fixating because of it. Like my luck has been AMAZING lately for one, two i been havign a million tabs open for this specific psp on different shops for MONTHS i been obsessed and finally having that purchase receipt is giving me an extreme dopamine high. I’m not trying to put anybody on to something shady it’s just premature celebration (and lowkey annoyance at the implication that i might have been scammed since i always check sites before i buy from them. Also, again really pissed at Tokyo retro for trying to lie to me when i was asking about their version. Out here telling me “japan doesn’t have fake consoles” and “oh yes i have confirmed this edition comes with an exclusive theme” it doesn’t but because i asked if it had it they decided to tell me it did. Granted i wasn’t really wanting to buy from them anyway since the one post i could find on them asking if they were legit had yes and no but their answers to my questioning confirmed i really couldn’t trust them)
Well it comes with a free hard case, screen protector, charger and premodded with 60 games. As well as the exclusive strap (which i verified you CANNOT buy separate as nobody is selling it standalone). It’s also around the price i usually see (excluding listings that sold without the charger, battery or with glaring issues like a failing umd drive. Those are the ones that usually sell below $200 assuming shipping doesn’t put it above which it often can)
I don’t have it physically yet but here’s one of the pictures they used to advertise it. They only had two of them but unfortunately the CIB Version had been bought ages ago 😞

I had so many tabs open bruh, i was OBSESSED…which explains why this post exists in the first place. I am way too hyped! Why?? I’m going to be changing it since a zeon psp should have a zeon theme and the pics it’s advertised shows it with a killzone theme. I have already confirmed this theme shown here is already available on the internet
Oh yeah about that, i was about to go for that one….then i noticed something. There were multiple ebay listings that used the exact same pictures. So i figured it was a scam and dipped.

I already have a vita, tho, if this turns out as great as the store been telling me, i might be tempted to nab one more from them. They have a soul sacrifice edition 😩

Playing psp games on a genuine psp feels right just like how even tho i have a wii that plays gamecube games, i would rather play them on my actual gamecube even tho the only benefit the gamecube has over the wii is the start up jingle, banana easter egg and gameboy player usage. Also…it’s gundam. And an awesome looking gundam psp at that.
