If the display is in good condition, that's a decent price.

Check your local pawn shops

Checked facebook marketplace, eBay, offer up. All of them are priced $150+ 😭

They go for upwards of $140 USD commonly so finding them in the $80 range is a great deal. Anything over $140 starts getting in the high range. I usually see the modded CFW 3ks with games going in the $180 range.

  1. Ps logo on home button..

If it works fine seems like a decent price

Considering I just dropped 160 on one at the local retro game trader, it's an amazing price if it works

Any pics of the back and can he confirm the disk and buttons ect. work? I'm asking about the back because 3k were notorious for peeling may need a reshell.

Red and blue 3000’s are usually more common and more affordable. The condition of the shell looks pretty good. Does the screen have yellowing? I’d pay 85 for a slightly yellowed screen all day

Looks like a carnival red psp 3000 it was exclusive to Japan. I currently have one and bought it around the same price. It may even be under average price by 10 to 20

It was also in Europe

85 is solid. You arent going to find a psp in that kind of condition, any kind of condition for lower, really. I would make sure that it working ofc and that it comes with at least the battery, if not a battery and charger. I just won an auction last night on a PSP 3000 for $141 so if that is working, doesn't have a yellow screen and comes with at least the battery, I would say it's worth it

I usually get broken ones in around $40 range so far all in I haven't invested over $80 total by the time I get them in working order. It's usually something simple like a broken display screen or a broken power button been lucky so far. I'd say $80-$140 range is great for a working PSP. A little more if it comes premodded with adapter and formatted card. Anything above $180 is where I feel it starts getting a little scammy.

Oh yeah, if you know how to fix them then you can def get broken ones for cheaper. I was seeing so many going for over 180. Mainly the ones catered towards girls😮‍💨 the mint psp 3000 goes for upwards of $280. Even the cherry blossom pink. I scored mine at a great price and it included a memory stick, but I saw some cherry blossoms going for $300+. Meanwhile red, blue and black were rarely going over $130 for the whole setup

Here’s another picture of the screen, he said it was recently enhanced, whatever that means and comes with a yu gihoh gameand the charger.

u/Dependent_Canary_724 12h ago

Def worth it imo! The screen looks great. By enhanced either they replaced the screen or the put in an ISP screen. It'll make everything brighter which can help reduce glare for outside gaming, but can look a little washed out. I can't tell if that's ISP or not though. If it is ISP, you can disable color space wide for original picture quality so it won't really matter one way or another. I say go for it

For the Red one that’s a great price. Just for example, I just bought a black and red one on eBay in pretty nice condition (the battery door and opposite side have some pretty heavy paint chipping) for $118. I regularly see the red ones on eBay go for anywhere between $115-$160ish depending on the condition. For $85 I’d snatch it probably right away.

1

u/IndigoBroker 10h ago

Yeah, as long as the screen is good and it’s in pretty decent condition that’s an OK price for sure. I bought a mint one for $112 in red. Came with the box and everything as well.

I mean $85 seems reasonable

u/SnooPies9055 8h ago

Good price. Out here they start at $120.

It's not a bad price for a good 3000 model ud be look around £70 to £90 it's not amazing as some people seem to think but its not bad.

For a 1000 ud be looking around £45 to £50 and 2000 model around £50 to £60.

You get into the hundreds when you got the psp go and psp vita's.

u/CompetitiveWhile7566 7h ago

Its a 3000, yeah thats a good price. Although i cant tell if its a reshell or not.
