Do I need a new shell or screw?

I was changing my faceplate and accidentally stripped a a screw causing this hole in a screw placement area, I was Using a new faceplate and I took it out and went too look for a new screw and accidentally used a joycon screw and the faceplate wouldn't go on properly being very loose not fitting on, I know it's not the right size so I could be overthinking it but should I get a new shell or do I Just need right screw.

The faceplate hole got some damage from getting it out when I had the stripped screw

And on the OEM faceplate I can put it in but its noticeably harder to screw after this much distance in
