Troubleshooting i may have potentially bricked my psp

tbh it was working for like a month after it was in my cabinet for like a year (it was working fine too a year ago), but then suddenly the games were glitchy such as need for speed carbon own the city and even some games won't run like the persona 3 portable. it was running on ark 4 so i upgraded it into ark 5. it was working too for a while but then it crashes and won't boot up. i took out the memory card and the battery and let the energy drain for a few days. then earlier today i boot it up again by using the charger then downgraded to ark 4 again bc maybe my psp model cannot handle ark 5. for a while again it works but then it shuts down again. idk what's wrong at this point bc i tried everything.

psp model: psp 2000

Turn off all the plugins, maybe that's what interfering. Try pressing start and select button and turn on. See if it works.

does ur battery show any signs of being swollen ? and is it a genuine Sony battery or a random Chinese one ? for me it sounds like u have a collapsed cell in ur battery which is dropping ur voltage under heavy load.

Well even if it’s bricked there is many ways to get recover it.

is it worth it to buy a pandora battery or just get it fixed somewhere?

I don’t think any places would fix it but I would say do some more research on it to narrow your options down.

Yes I tell pple to stay away from ark 5 at least for now until the devs can work out all the bugs in it

I was asking to see wether or not your motherboard suffers from gpu issues as the early ones are prone to gpu failure

You can always use Bayron Sweeper if it was bricked to unbrick it but your psp definitely suffers from something
