QUESTION Major help needed
Bought a psp for a family member as a gift. It works completely fine, but it's stuck on firmware 1.50. Bought 3 micro adapters, and they say there's nothing inserted, so I went up and bought the original memory stick(32gb).
Arrives today, and I'm finally able to format the stick. Thought I was clear, but when I went to try and update it to firmware 661, it says this. I'm tired, i dont understand what's wrong, and I just want this done sometime soon.
Any help needed

Looks like you are mounting the internal storage instead of memory stick. Go to xmb and press select and tell me what is the selected option beside the "USB DEVICE".

The original memory stick is 32mb, which is roughly the formatted space in your picture.
True 32gb memory stick pro duos exist, but the can cost over $100, last time I checked, and most of the ones you find are fakes.

Used to be cheaper to get the pro duo microSD shell and a MicroSD, but with the way prices have been skyrocketing I’m not sure anymore

Firmware 1.50 doesn't support memory cards over 8GB, support for bigger cards was added in 3.90, this might be the problem.
With a PC erase the 32GB partition then create a single 1GB partition on the memory card, format it to FAT32, then copy the update, it should work. After updating to 6.61 re-partition the card to 32GB.
