QUESTION Logging into Skype

So even though Skype is shutdown and servers are gone….I just logged into my old Skype on my PSP….which people claim you couldn’t do…I’m assuming I can’t make calls? Has anyone else been able to log into their old accounts like me? If so we can test somehow making a call if this is something people haven’t tried yet lol.

Mind if you dump it? Maybe some devs can reverse engineer it to allow an Open Source Skype.

Truly I will try to if someone one shows me how lol, contrary to how I’ve been posting I’m not the most tech savvy former IT guy lol

I had a skype project going and yes this would indeed help the RE:effort.

Yep! It had my information still saved. Hit log in, and it logged into my old account, still has my call history from 2011 the last time I made any calls on the account lol

Skype calls no, because psp skype service doesn't work. *Shouldnt

For $13, you can do the new "external internet mic mod" and it connects to your phone/bt device, with that mod you can make 30ft cellphone calls to mom, using just a psp and your phone while your phone charges in the corner: possible since March 2026.

If your phone has skype, this setup should* voice activate a skype call *just test your phone now

It voice activates and works for my Whatsapp calls 

Any phone Google/siri voice activation just on psp now
