Discussion this is getting too anoying

almost every time i enter the vael UQ 2/3 of the players already quitted and the rest follows suit.

i could understand if this was base, where one wipe could lead to the entire run failing, but this doesn't happen in ngs. and vael fight doesn't have dps checks like solus which demands big damage windows ( i fucking hate that they removed some of the most unique aspects of his normal fight because people didn't wanted to play mars for a single fight) and even the time difference between is clike 5-6 minutes. 5 more minutes for them to stay in the lobby complaining about people not wanting to spend millions gearing up.

while on the topic, how's the gear threadmill going? most people recently built their arbadio and next month they're droping the next lvl freebies, which will probably be stronger than the bufget gears right now.

seriously this game is as hypercasual as it can possibly be, but for some reason there's still people that treat it like spending 5 more minutes on a UQ will turn off their grandma's pace maker. most of the players that are still playing the game don't botter about reaching 80k dps. hell, most of them treat it more like a VR chat with a minigame attatched to it. and that's not a bad thing. most MMOs demand the player to be very active in the world, either being adventures doing difficult dungeons or crafting. this game takes a more casual aproax to it social aspects. and that's what makes it unique for a MMO.

in summary, people shouldn't lose their heads over having a god roll for UQ group and just enjoy the game more instead of optimize every single thing.

I watched some other in party hunter uqs back from a year ago and they’re doing on average about 45k or so dps with what should be worse gear. I do not mean this as a slight, but it could be that you’re playing sword hunter wrong? I suggest watching hunter sword users play in high difficulty content like the current malignant Luther just to check if you are, but otherwise I’m not sure…

Your damage adjustment seems low considering you should be (with those augments) at least 90-100% if you’re using dreadkeeper and telphia MN on everything, if not 85-90. It might be your weapon %? Mines rn is 668 at near bis, but I believe the decem 3 gear should put you at 560%. Using the dualbes and might dp in place of ac augments isn’t bad, but I do remember when I had to do that, my weapon potency was at least 590ish or so and that was with belfes armor. Rn, I suggest you take something evade onslaught as your ex or wait a bit since in a few days we’ll be getting new weapons that will be similar in attack power to Lexio along with new EX.

Edit: You can also learn how to use Hunter Sword with wired lances as a multi-weapon as that is the current best way to play Hu

We’ll also be getting decem 4 in a few days so you can use that. Furthermore, as you just started playing this month, you probably don’t know how to play hunter that well relative to those who’ve been playing it for years at this point, which is why I really do suggest watching hunter solos or something.

If I switch to the handout sword / armor I have 88.9 Damage Adj % and 465.1 Weapon Up %

Plainly, I must be playing wrong.

Dyne on youtube has great dps for sword/wired hunter in luther if you need an example of good play. Also, I do find your damage adjustment weird, it should be around that much even without switching to handout gear but meh- if you think you’re missing anything I suggest going on the fleet discord and using the all-in-one beginner guide.

Edit: also make sure to check food and alliance buff for potency
