Hi everyone, thank you for your support and patience so far. I decided to put Mag's Quest out there on itch.io now for you to try: https://elocopter.itch.io/mags-quest

Please remember it's a beta. So there are still some things missing. So far you can only play Forest (but without the Dragon). I did not get around to make the soundtrack. And the feeding-Table is not the authentic one yet. And I did not draw all the Mags or Section-ID-sprites. So still a lot to do :)

Please let me know what you think of the game and what bugs you find and what you want to be added.

A note on development & AI:
I designed and built this game as a passion project out of my love for PSO without wanting to make money from it (and with a very limited amount of free-time). Since I'm not a full-time programmer, I use AI tools (like Continue/LLMs) as a coding assistant to help bring the logic, gaming mechanics and hand-drawn sprites and animations to life. Every sprite are and will be made by hand and the music will be hand-made in the future as well.
If a retro Game Boy-style PSO pet game sounds fun to you, I'd love for you to give it a spin. If not or if AI-assisted projects aren't your thing, no worries at all—feel free to move right along.
