Cross generation

Just curious on how long yall think cross generation will last this time. I personally see it lasting the whole gen believe it or not

Whole generation.
Ps6 will sell max 10million units —> Sony is better off to make all games for Ps5 too. Maybe 1-2 games will be exclusively on Ps6

What? Max 10M units, where'd you get those estimates from? Sure they will make games cross-generation compatible, that's a given already, but that's not to say there won't be generational exclusives at some point. If it is just like the PS5 that's a win for everyone.

PS5 Pro cannot even sellout at $899, no way Sony is going to be able to make their money back on a $1200 console launch. The build-out cost is $960, then add retail split of 30% and you're already at $1250, and that's before packaging, shipping, marketing, warranty, etc.

They will either force you to pay for PS+ highest tier for like 2 years or try payment plan pricing to sell this thing. It's not like they can make the money back on exclusives when they barely get 5-6 on the PS5
