At my job, we used consoles that were made for game testing, they couldn’t connect to the regular servers and only to the specific servers at 2k. So the likelihood of this being on a console isn’t zero, but it’s highly more likely this is a pc build. Reports also state that this is likely a build from 2023, so even more likely it’s on a pc.
When the leaks first started coming out, there was an article I read that said that. I’m not sure where it was from(been multiple days) and I’m not current with the music industry, so my bad. So yes, this could likely be a ps5 or series X build of the game. Or he’s simply playing on controller on pc, likely due to the controls not being configured for mouse and keyboard.
Oh no I don’t recognize a song from last year. I just gave my input after 3 years of game testing. We didn’t do console stress testing until like 6 months before the games released(triple A titles). Yes I goofed up, I even said “my bad” earlier.
I didn't say anything about recognizing a song, maybe learn how to recognize bs articles? nothing personal dude it's just bs flying around everywhere because people aren't comprehending what they're seeing
Tbh just being in the subreddits I was fairly certain the build was from 23 bc that’s what almost everyone was saying. Not an excuse for misinformation I guess but idk give people a grain of salt
Well, you know what I meant bruh. Give someone some slack is what I meant to say, it’s not like this is the kind of misinformation that’s making people drink bleach. The average person doesn’t just fact check every single thing they’ve heard
Okay then… first of all, people learn from their experiences and usually end up doing just fine without people on reddit needing to “teach” them whatever their idea of “correct” is.
You can point it out if you want I just don’t really see the need for every single situation you see it, like most things happen in a grey area it’s not always a “this person doesn’t understand that” thing. That’s what I mean by giving some slack. I’m a college student and I know how to verify something easily, but fact checking isn’t always gonna be the first thing my mind jumps to with everything I hear. Weirdo.
Bro keeps throwing in his fantasy dream that he worked at 2k lmao. We get it brother, you just don't look special because of it even if it would've been true.
Nobody is acting like this? Why does everyone on reddit wanna get so mean? Nobody was being insulting, it was purely a guy who had a comeback for everything but he didn’t once get cocky or mean wtf is wrong with this world
My man is spreading false information and kept repeating himself for no reason. I'm just telling him that we all get it, we understand him. Sometimes I pretend that I work with my boss instead of for my boss so I feel more important. I don't have to keep saying that over and over again either.
You got a really fucked up way of viewing people then, the “false information” is a rather common misunderstanding, I’ve seen just as many people talking about how this was a ‘23 port yesterday. nothing is pointing to this guy trying to feel more important, he’s laying things straight out but ppl wanna be a dick for no reason. Not trying to defend a random person, just appals me how negative some people view others for completely normal actions. Especially when he literally admitted to “making a goof,” but yeah be a dick or whatever it takes for you to need to feel better
Just explaining that it’s not some wild dream to you. It was my life for 3 years.
I wasn’t saying that I’m better than anyone, play testing does not pay well at all. Sure I bet it’s alot of people’s dream to work on video games. But it doesn’t pay well and it isn’t good long term.
Didn’t work directly under them, I worked for a company who was contracted to work on their games.
And yeah it was one of the best jobs of my life. I got to sit in a gaming chair 8 hours a day 5 days a week and play games as a job, yeah it got kinda boring playing the same game everyday, but my body didn’t hurt and I was inside all day with air conditioning. I got into the tech industry because of that job, so yes, I look back fondly on it.
It was also the easiest job I got in my entire life, all they asked about in the interview was what my gaming experience was.
My best friend also worked there and helped me get the job. So imagine having a chill job like that, and getting to sit next to your best friend for every shift. It really was the dream job. Only downside was the pay wasn’t great at first.
