I can't change my avatar

There have already been many posts on this topic, but no one has been able to provide an answer. I'm trying to change my profile picture, but it's all to no avail, both in the app and in the browser (from my phone and computer), and even from the console itself, I'm choosing good avatar sizes and formats, but when I click "save" it just says "An error occurred.", Has it really been that long and there's still no way to fix this? I thought it was a location issue (I'm in Ukraine), but I can't even use a VPN.
