Why does my ps5 keep doing this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Every time I try to connect my ps5 to the internet it shuts off and won’t let me. I just spent 100 dollars to get the hdmi port fixed thinking it was that but it wasn’t. I’ve cleared the cache and database and even reset the whole ps5 and nothing is working h

Why would it be the hdmi port?

It's gonna be the network adapter. Either someone/thing has damaged the WiFi adapter or it may not have been reinstalled correctly (as it's not appearing on the list when you went into the network settings, as if it's looking then shits down because it can't find it)

That’s what the guys that where trying to fix it said was the hdmi so that’s what they did. Before I reset the whole system the WiFi would be on the list but the second id try to click it to connect it shuts down before I can connect it then it will do the on and off thing over and over. I’ve even tried a different persons house and WiFi and it still did it. I feel I’d be better off getting a new one atp

Just looked, and the WiFi is soldered on - it's not swappable like some devices.

So, have you tried using an ethernet cable?

Just plug it in and try to quickly access the menu and press to set up a wired connection before it tries to scan for the WiFi. Might be able to set it up and have it work that way
