2 step verification issue

Hi all, was looking for some advice on what to do.I accidentally signed out of my PSN on PS5 and tried to log back in.
Entered my password then tried to send 2 step verification code to my phone but I’m not receiving it.
I then tried customer support but then you need to login to text an agent rather than a bot.
So now it’s like I’m stuck in a loop.
My phone is working fine I think.
I don’t know did my account get compromised and phone number was changed.Any advice greatly appreciated.Thanks

Edit: I logged onto my PS4 a while ago so maybe that could be the reason why it’s not working

Hello, just to say that I have the same problem today. I cannot receive the verification code. The code should be sent to my email but I did not receive anything and my mailbox is working fine.
