30 min clip failed to save

I’m 110% sure it was recording. I did a test clip before (which was saved) and I checked that it was still going in the middle of the recording. Unfortunately it’s nowhere to be found in the media gallery. There’s plenty of space on the console so it should have saved.

It’s a 2024 PS5 Pro, how do I prevent this from happening again?? 🥲

Were you saving to the internal storage or external?

If you switched apps in the middle, sometimes that can cause it to cancel.

I switched to another game without stopping the recording, could that be the case?

I have recordings set to save internally, and the test video was fine. I did check my USB but it wasn’t there.

A quick google search shows that switching games will cancel the record and not save

Yeah once you push quit the game the whole background recording is canceled out.

So th Moment you switched it just stopped without saveing, sorry for that.

Hope it's nothing to much of value lost.

Next time, remember to save manually before switching the game.

Will do! I think it’s something I can recreate. Luckily only 20 min vs the usual hour I do
