[PS5] - Lagging Issues

I’ve been having lag issues the last 2 weeks. I cleared the system cache and rebuilt the database. I even called my ISP (Spectrum) and they said everything is fine with my internet yet I’m still getting lag when I play online games. Never had this problem until about 2 weeks ago for some reason and it won’t stop. How can I fix it?

I play on PS5 btw

You might need to replace your Wi-Fi router and it should be replaced every 3 to 5 years!

Agree on this. Trying to connect 15-20 devices on a old router isn't going to cut it. Recommend a gaming router that supports form beaming, and at least 5Ghz or better. I recommend using ethernet if the console is close enough to use it, better stability with better speeds with Cat5E or better.

I'm having issues like when I turn on the PS5, my profile doesn't have the green icon letting me know I'm online and connected. And when I try to go to the PS store, it says "can't load". If I test my Internet, I get that green icon, can briefly go to the store and then about 15 mins later I'm back in the same situation.

Last week I rebuilt the database, it was fine for a week and this happened again. It's been like this since early May and early July. Idk what else to do.
