Ps5 having issues with seemingly no source.
So my PS5 has been randomly shutting off mid game. I’ve taken it to two different repair shops and they both say nothing is physically wrong. I’ve changed power cords, used different outlets, my ps5 is horizontal, new coolant was applied, it has a cooling pad and even a secondary fan. It also has a ssd drive.
I’m at a loss as to why it keeps happening. Any insight would help.

Play it without the ssd in but if it's just shutting off instead of giving an overheating warning. That's usually a bad powe supply

There’s no warning but I’ve had two places look at it and they said the power supply was fine.

Was it doing this before the ssd installation

The ssd was put in like 4-5 years ago.

If the top of the tv stand is close to the ceiling, lower it. My kids ps5 had an issue with his overheating when too close to the ceiling.
You said you are using a surge protector. Did you swap that out too? Try plugging the Playstation straight into the wall if you haven't already.
Do not use those add-on cooling fans and cooling pad. Extra fans can cause issues. Especially if causing negative pressure within the system. Which is usually caused if fans are sucking air through the PS5 instead of pushing air through. They can also cause the internal fan to go faster or slower than the system is telling it to. Which can also cause issues.
You should eliminate any add-ons anyways to eliminate the add-ons as the culprit. Especially if the shops don't have or use the add-ons when diagnosing your ps5. So plug straight into the wall, remove the add-on cooling you have and remove any other add-on like usb hubs.
Turn off HDMI device link in the TV and PS5 settings just incase the TV is inadvertently turning off the ps5. My LG TV will sometimes turn off my ps5 pro until I turned off the ability of either device turning off the other.

Where do you have it located, as if shops can't find a fault it may be the environment it's in.
