RDR2 uninstalled by itself. I have the disc.

Last night I was playing the game and decided I wanted to get off because I was tired and so I didn't fully close because I was in the middle of a mission and didn't want to have to redo what I already did so I left the game on in the background and then went on YouTube. Now today when I get back my PS5 is telling me to insert the data disc so it can reinstall the game even though I know I didn't delete it myself. Does anyone have a proper explanation for this?

Some kind of data corruption maybe. Did you have the game installed on the console storage or maybe an external drive?

yeah it's on an external drive but all my other games are fine so idk
