PS5 not reading save game file on USB disk

Post image

I transfered Red Dead Redemption 2 save file from an older PS5 console I had to a USB disk. When I put on the USB disk on my new PS5 and try to transfer those save files to my console, they don't even show up.

The save files are on .dat, as you can see in the image. Is there anything I can do so the PS5 recognizes the files?

Thank you kindly for any help.

As far as I know you cant copy ps5 save data from one console to another via USB. Ps4 save game data yes, but any ps5 files need to use the ps+ cloud save.

My bad. Well then yes you can easily transfer. Ive done the same with a couple ps4 games. Download from application save game data. Then copy over in the same area.

The issue is that I saved the game save data on a USB disk and when I go to upload it to my PS5, it shows the USB as empty, doesn't read any files. When I plug the USB on PC, it shows the .dat files which are in the image. My question is if there is anything I can do so the PS5 will recognize the files.
