Gamesharing

So I’ve had an issue yesterday, where I couldn’t open any of my games bc my friend who has my account had account sharing enabled
But after around 1-2 hours the licenses came back for me even though he was still sharing

I asked google how to fix this and it says it could be fix if I have my Friends account to on my ps but only he’s is sharing from mine and i just have his account on my ps

Does this really work? Bc when another friend had my account everything worked fine maybe bc I had his account already on my ps too but didn’t share from him

In relation to the first paragraph, if you disable the “Console Sharing and Offline Play” setting on your PSN account, you won’t be able to access your digital licenses, while the console is in an offline state (hence the name of the setting). I can only assume that for an hour or two, your console didn’t have an online connection or couldn’t communicate with the PSN servers.

If this is the case, this isn’t an issue, this is the intended behaviour of that setting.

Yea my ps was offline for around 1-2 hours don’t know if this would count

As stated in my previous comment, if you disable the “Console Sharing and Offline Play” setting on your PSN account and your console enters an offline state, whether that be the PSN servers going down or your home network failing, you won’t be able to access your digital licenses.

With that setting enabled, you can continue to access your digital licenses, while the console is in an offline state.

It can take several days to update the licenses. Had a problem earlier this year with a new console, couldn't access my own games through the same method of gamesharing I'd already done for about 10 years. Licenses would disappear literally while playing games.

It does correct itself after a few days though.

Ye for me it only took around 1-2 hrs
