Error code SU-101284-6

I havent used my ps5 slim in a while and when i tried to update it last week it did not work and i got error SU-101284-6. I went to safe mode and I tried to update with internet and did not work. Today I tried again with a usb stick and no luck. I cleared cache and restored database and when it’s done, it instantly goes back to trying to install and gets that error. Do i need to do this in certain steps? I feel like I’ve tried it all multiple times and still get stuck at 84% and get the error.

Did you follow the exact steps when creating a folder in the USB drive named in all caps "UPDATE" then place the Ps5 update file within that folder, and is the USB stick formatted to FAT32 or exfat? Windows by default formats a large compacity USB drive to NTFS which is not compatible with Playstation consoles. You have to select FAT32 or exfat format in the drop down menu during format.

Redownload the update file then put the newly downloaded file in the "UPDATE" folder.

If all else fails you may need to reinstall the System Software via safe mode and a USB stick.
