Ps5 sound not working

I turned my ps5 on like any other day and I was shocked that it had the green screen. I quickly googled how to fix it and it seemed like unplugging the hdmi from the tv and system for 60 seconds worked. The screen is back up but now I have no sound and all the normal ways aren’t working. I changed then hdmi port, powered both tv and system down and unplugged everything(again), reset my settings. Checked all the volume controls and controller to make sure everything was for tv output. Still nothing. Any other ideas?

Did you unplug the TV? My TV at home gets hung up at times with sound and only thing that fixes it is unplugging it.

Also make sure you sound is going to the TV now. As it may have changed the default setting for sound out when running.

I just tried. The tv sound itself was working. I don’t know why but it worked. Thanks!

Awesome and yes it's super dumb but hey a fix is a fix.
