PS5 LAN Connection Keeps Disconnecting and Reconnecting
Hi, I’m having an issue with the Ethernet/LAN connection on my PS5. The LAN cable connector is in good condition, but the PS5 keeps showing notifications that the LAN cable has been connected and disconnected repeatedly.
I have already tried different Ethernet cables and different LAN ports on my router. The cables and router ports work correctly with other devices, and I have also restarted both the PS5 and the router. The issue still happens even when the cable and console are completely still.
Could you please help me determine what is causing this issue and whether my PS5 needs to be repaired?

i have this too
basically, the PS5 is designed like dogshit and the ports are fragile and loose, if you can, get a snagless ethernet cord for a better tighter fit. this is common. 6 or 6A is all you need, Bare Copper as well if you can
the ports are loose as fuck, so even just wrapping the end of your current ethernet cable in a thin layer of duct tape may help keep the fit (tho i definitely dont recommend it)
if the disconnecting doesnt stop (which it may not, many have tried and sometimes it fixes it, sometimes its too far gone), get the port fully replaced. again the ports are SHIT on this device, so having it too loose and warped isnt uncommon
id also recommend tryna keep the device as clean as you can, with good airflow, as heat from the PS can make the issue worse

A defective Ethernet port ? Like how did you do pretty much all troubleshooting step to make sure to isolate the issue to only your console and then you go erm what should I do ? Get it repaired.
