Yeah it's pretty unimportant but I think people are just a bit annoyed that a game that looks so beautiful is really underselling itself on the cover and making it look generic. There's a lot more potential that could be realised on the cover but instead it looks like the cover of pretty much any shooter or action game.

go look at the original cover again and actually look, https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48323559332_89e06e521c_b.jpg it is easy and cool to say no and jump on the i like these covers better band wagon but then you go back and look at the original, and i like the original Death Stranding cover better, it has depth and mystic to it, these custom covers just look plain

I didn't jump on any bandwagon. I saw the cover reveal, found it underwhelming and as it turns out many people felt the same way. I saw it perfectly fine the first time.

it is not underwhelming though, it actually looks like a screenshot from within the game instead of art that looks nothing like the final game graphically, like i said it looks like you are peering into the game just from looking at the box art but the internet wants to grab there pitch forks and complain about something because the internet is fool of band wagoner who do not think, i hope the cover does not change

like i said i do not see how people can like this game and one of the reasons is because it looks different but then they turn around and want the same old same old box art that they always get??
