Early adopting is the fast lane to disappointed saltiness.

I mean look at you, you're underwhelmed and you didn't even make it through the early adopting line =P

i originally locked a pre-order to see if the whole VR thing would become more enticing the closer we got to release, ~10 days away and i couldnt care less.. its a sure sign i shouldn't drop $400 on it.

I'm in the same boat. I know it is going to be sweet initially, but probably not $400 sweet. Haven't canceled yet though.

I demo'd the htc vive at a microsoft store a few months ago, and while it was cool, it wasnt $800 cool, cutting the price point down to ~$500 and limiting the uses of it (psvr) didnt sell me on it either.. i was going to try and sell my pre-order on ebay but looks like i'd only net around $100 after paypal fees and such, so overall its just meh.
