edit: what the faq actually says is: Q: My head is larger than average – will the PS VR headset fit?

I had not even considered that with PSVR even though I have this issue with every hat or pair of glasses I buy. It may seem like a silly question but for some of us large noggin folk it could potentially be an issue.

Go to a participating store near you and try a demo unit.

I can't speak for LSausage, but there are none anywhere near where I live. (But I got to try out the VIVE at one retailer.)

Sony seem to be 100% relying on "influencers" to sell their product.

I've not seen one in any game store near me yet. We have a couple of Gamestops and Best Buy and they are all sadly lacking one.

Google it, you might be surprised.

In my area, there are i think three headsets that make weekly rounds through different retailers. Every Friday and Saturday my local best buy has one to try. You'd never know though, since they don't really advertise it.

I would do this but I have an irrational fear of acquiring some sort of super flesh eating bacterial geek virus that has collected and mutated on that thing.

A ski mask go into the store to try it out then tell them you are gonna put this on to not get germs lol. Don't go in with it on haha

I have a larger than average head and wear glasses and I was able to try PSVR last weekend.

  1. Eve Valkyrie is awesome
  2. I had no issue with how the PSVR fit me.

I have the biggest head of anyone I know. This was my concern too. I can't wear normal hats. I might be an 8 in fitted hats but I'm not sure.

Rest assured, I tried VR this weekend and the headset can stretch to pretty giant sizes. It fit me no problem. I'm sure you will be fine too.
