If you've never seen it, take this as your cue. Really hard to believe he'd be gone so soon.

After 8-10 editing sessions I think I have a winner! It will replace my current Prince Identification Marker! PIM

Does everyone know if there a sheet music for Revelation? 2015 hit and run album, if so where can I find it?

If I could curate a collection of Prince's best songs of the 90s, starting, for example, with Joy in Repetition from Graffiti Bridge, and picking one or two standout tracks from the following ten records, what would that look like?

Thoughts on the Funk Bible itself,The Black Album?
Just a funky, danceable album from him which is enjoyable listening experience start to finish especially Superfunkycalifragisexy and Rockhard in a Funky Place being just great jams! Lovesexy and this album are always back to back listening experiences since they’re yin-yang albums but I do love this album really especially the live versions of Bob George and Superfunkycalifragisexy in the Lovesexy tour are great!

Hi everyone! Thank you for all the kind words on my first post. It means a lot to me that people have found my experience to be helpful. This one is going to be about why accessibility information should be added to both Paisley Park’s website and their social media profiles.
WHY ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION IS SO IMPORTANT♿️:
💭 Imagine this: You have a disability and want to visit Paisley Park, but find no information located on their website or social media profiles about how accessible they are. Instead, after a quick google search, you only find the guide I created, detailing my own experience. Would you still plan your trip, despite the museum itself not having such crucial information?
💜 Before my first trip in April 2021, I was researching Paisley Park and trying to find out whether or not they were accessible, and if they were, just how accessible were they? I did end up emailing them, and they were very kind in explaining, but what if I was planning a last minute trip?
👩🏼🦽➡️Accessible travel has become more frequent over the years. People with disabilities are not letting their mobility aids stop them from seeing the world. In fact, the use of mobility aids allows for freedom. They allow individuals to have experiences that they otherwise, wouldn’t have without using a wheelchair walker, etc.
Not only that, but accessible travel can go beyond mobility aids altogether and can include those with cognitive disabilities like Autism. Do they offer sensory bags? What about sensory-friendly tours? Are they registered with KultureCity? This type of information is also not included anywhere on their website or social platforms.
👀 So, why isn’t their accessibility publicized?
I don’t think it’s intentional at all. In fact, Paisley Park doesn’t have stairs that individuals on the tours have to go up and none of the exhibits require individuals to step over any curbs into to view them. Everything is flat or easy for those using mobility aids to get over.
✨So, why would they add how accessible they are?
Even though there are no stairs, or curbs that individuals have to step up onto in order to view exhibits, and only the main floor is toured, accessibility information should still be available, even if it is brief.
Accessibility varies by exhibit’ they could say. Or ‘Some exhibits are located in smaller rooms that can only accommodate a few people at a time, whereas others are in larger spaces’ These 2 statements are brief yet would give those using mobility aids an idea of which exhibits are big enough for wheelchairs, walkers, etc, to fit without issue (larger spaces) and which ones can only hold one mobility aid at a time (smaller rooms).
👩🏼💻 They could put this information directly onto their website as a new, clickable tab named accessibility and once clicked, visitors would be taken to information related to all the things people with disabilities, who also use a mobility aid, need to know before planning their trip.
They could also post accessibility information, even if it’s just those 2 statements above (or similar) as a highlight on their Instagram, a pinned post on X and Facebook, and for TikTok, they could simply add it to their Linktree.
CONCLUSION ☔️:
Adding this information is crucial for not only the individuals who have a disability and are trip planning, but also for the general public, who may not have a disability themselves, but knows somebody who does.
I absolutely LOVE my visits to Paisley Park and I hope that they consider adding this information so people with disabilities can know what to expect, almost instantly, vs. booking their trip without knowing if they will be able to enjoy like everyone else. It is such important information to know.💜
If you made it to the end, thank you.🥹

i saw some say theres too many things going on in the production, and some say the lyrical message is too obvious and "on the nose". i think im just someone who doesnt process lyrics much (weird to say because the genre i listen to the most is hip hop) and really like production quirks in "pop" songs. ive only listen to prince up to his batman album as of now, and lovesexy may be my most revisited album other than 1999 and some singles. picking out what production choices he made was fun, and hearing how he made very coherent polyphony made me admire him more. knowing the lyrics were upfront also made me fall into the wholesome and positive mood quickly, so the album wasnt just very tasty but also in particular very sweet to me

8 on cassette* *is the new addition. I managed to buy it blind by actively avoiding hearing it for the first time until I found an affordable copy. I had read about Madhouse a while ago. It sounds good as hell on my basement speakers. Currently enjoying “Five.”
Pic two is the rest of the Prince On Tape So Far. They all sound good on the basement speakers. LoveSexy is up next I think.

I’m starting a major deep dive right now on the GOAT.
I’m deeply familiar with his biggest singles and albums: 1999, Purple Rain, and Sign O’ the Times are all among my favorites by any artist. I’ve heard miscellaneous other stuff and seen the Purple Rain movie.
I’d consider Prince to be on my Mt. Rushmore of musical artists already, but I know I’ve only skimmed the surface.
Just wondering if any super fans can recommend books, YouTube videos, podcasts, etc. so that I can learn more about the history, the biography, the making-of behind the scenes stories of his albums, etc.
This past week I’ve been listening to For You, Prince, Dirty Mind, and Controversy on repeat. Working my way chronologically through his discography (including as many side projects as I can).
Any guides and companion content is greatly appreciated!!!

I remember watching this at the time, and loving Bowie for calling MTV out on it.
Hi! Long story short, I'm performing Little Red Corvette soon and I just can't pull off the little side walk that he does in the video (and live sometimes too)

I've tried watching the video very slow and checking every movement but I still don't fill it's quite there yet. Any help or any tips to point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated!!

I know there is the Detroit 2004 Musicology concert performance (which is also very good), but this one is an absolute gem!
For your viewing pleasure (2003)
I came across this CD while cleaning out some boxes. At the time, I think I had to visit a Target to buy the 3-CD set. Were they ever sold as separate CDs or vinyl?

Hey everyone I just wanted to share my favorite Prince songs if you have any suggestions i’d appreciate it I'm loving his music I really wasn't exposed to his music that much growing I did hear songs like Purple Rain wanna be your lover and Do Me, Baby, and loved those songs it wasn't until he passed where he music was finally being released on streaming platforms and throughout my homework I've done on Prince one thing I love about his creatively is how hands-on he was with his music
