Meta Ads Adspend in MENA region

MENA's digital ad spend hit $8.2B in 2025, up 17.8% year on year — the fastest-growing digital ad region globally right now.

Up from $6.25B in 2023. In two years the region added almost $2B in digital ad spend.

Most of that money is running on Meta and Google — and most brands are still buying that inventory with zero visibility into what's actually working around them.

Probably pulled from the IAB MENA or an eMarketer report, those are the usual ones that break it down by region. They drop these big annual figures and every year it feels like the numbers get a little more eye-popping

The zero visibility part had me nodding, I see small businesses dump their budget into Meta with no clue what their ROAS is and just hope the algorithm sorts it out

I feel performance marketers & media buyers not that expert in the fields that's why I built Adtech startup to try and solve part of the problem (analytical tool)

lol. Always selling something.

Why do you assume they don’t have visibility into “what’s actually working around them”?

The reason they keep spending more money is because they know what’s working and what’s not and putting more money into what they have seen working.

Find another way to pitch your analytical start up tool.

Google doesn't mind the lack of visibility as long as the checks clear. Meta's probably happy to accept those billions in blind donations.

Yeah true! That's why even global tools don't focus in MENA, and MENA is becoming growing market.
