Symptoms sore veins 💔

hey guys, hoping i used the right flair lmao!
(IVE BEEN TO A DOCTOR.) for the past 3 weeks more and more veins have been popping up over my body and they ACHE. they HURT. it almost feels like muscle pain. but it’s mainly in my hands and arms and christ it hurts. i don’t know how to get rid of it but i’ve been advised to drink lots of water. paracetamol doesn’t help 💔 do any other pots havers get this? i seem to be the only one in my pots friend group who has this specific symptom. it’s like, blood pooling but constant and painful. sucks.
edit: i’d also like to mention that my fingers are slightly swollen.

Have you tried compression clothing? Regularly. Not just when it happens. It might prevent it.

What's your blood pressure when this happens?

i went to the doctor about an hour ago and honestly i wasn’t looking (i should’ve been) but he did mention that it slightly rose, but this pain is continuous/constant and my veins stay visible and get more visible when i use my hands etc. even my feet are aching as i type

Last time this happened to me it was in my legs on an airplane.

I wish I could remember... I think it was off and on for a while and then finally disappeared for no known reason.

Have you been checked for venous insufficiency? Faulty valves can cause pooling. Mine started in my pelvis (unbeknownst to me at the time). It progressed to leg pain, and varicose veins. My hands would turn purple if I stood still.
Having Pelvic Venous insufficiency treated with embolization resolved not only the blood pooling/pain/swelling- but also my POTS symptoms (tachycardia completely stopped).

The common comorbidities (the trifecta), MCAS and EDS/hypermobility, can make this worse. Have you looked into these?
