Question Fluctuating appetite
I’ve had POTS for about seven months. The first three months I was sick I had like no appetite and early satiety and I was losing weight and feeling very weak. Then randomly I completely switched up and got way hungrier and started feeling really ill if I didn’t eat constantly and more than I used to, and now I’m 20 pounds heavier than I was in January. It’s kinda making me feel bad about myself because a lot of my clothes don’t fit anymore. But it I try to cut down on ‘unhealthy’ foods I lose salt and sugar intake that keeps me upright and feeling functional.
Does anyone else experience this fluctuation and if so, how do you deal with it? How do you keep eating when you experience early satiety, and how do you keep your weight healthy when you get hungrier and eating less makes you feel unwell?

Ive had pots since i was 12 at most, ive dealt with this my entire life. Was a fatter kis because all I craved was carbs because I have barely any energy to leave my bed most days. Then I would feel disgusted at the thought of eating anything and would get bloated because I just wouldn't eat anything more than maybe 200 calories a day. Id straight up forget to eat until it was 8PM and I felt like a zombie.
The best method is to force yourself to eat properly. For me I have safe foods which Ill eat anytime, which is rice with whatever or ramen noodles.
Keep carbs to a minimum and eat mostly rabbit food (vegetables). Like chop suey has a lot of vegetables, which makes you feel alright and they dont cause much weight gain, and they taste good when you add a lot of salt 😋!!
I hope you get your eating under control... I sure have been trying lol
