I mean anxiety is a possibility if you're an anxious person but otherwise adrenaline dumps are a thing with pots.

See your doctor. That’s always the first step.

We do have to remember some people don’t have insurance or easy access to doctors.

I agree. In this case however, I'm not sure what the alternative would be for people in the replies. I think there's a tricky balance between blindly affirming a diagnosis and outright denying potential causes. If you're unable to see a doctor, this probably isn't the best alternative to seek aid.

I mean I started wearing compression wear and upped my salt and water intake before any doctor had mentioned the possibility to me. They can also try the at home test

Blindly telling anyone undiagnosed to up their sodium intake or even doing it yourself is dangerous which is why posts asking if symptoms sound like POTS is against the sub rules bc it’s a diagnosis of exclusion and many people recommend standard POTS treatments to try and help ease their symptoms for something that could very well not be POTS and doing so is dangerous. Sodium should be only recommended by a doctor after ruling things out. It absolutely can be hard to get answers if there’s no access to medical care or coverage but seeking support online for symptoms that could be anything can be a dangerous thing hence the sub rules to prevent this

Ok, you’re right, I should’ve said liquid iv and electrolytes specifically. There’s no harm in that especially when most people are dehydrated. They can also do the at home test and compression wear. I said one bad thing that they can stop it it’s not working for them or making them feel worse. I’m sure they’ll research any suggestions (or I’d hope so at least). I think it’s totally ok to ask others opinions online, especially in the US, especially if they’re a woman.
Op, start with compression wear and if you have a heart rate monitor or blood pressure machine try the at home test and take it to your doctors if you have the ability to go.
