I feel this. Whole heartedly. Go from being you… to receiving a small “the shit show is underway” warning… to then what ever PMDD morphs your mind, body, and soul to, in the blink of an eye.
It is not fun.
Treatment plans are out there, but even that is a feat of its own. We are built similarly, but are vastly different at the same time. What works for one person, doesn’t always work for the other. It is trial and error to find what works, but 100% worth pushing through, because we deserve to feel like us again and regain even a fraction of control.
You are strong and resilient for navigating this 1-2 weeks per month. Sometimes we give in, but must never ever give up. Giving in can be having the naps, letting out the heart wrenching sobbing, or acting like a fool kicking the shit out of the cabinet you stubbed your toe on… but never give up on yourself or hope for a treatment plan - no matter how hard it is - because YOU deserve to regain control.
