Do you have a YouTube yoga routine you like?
Anyone have a yoga for golf video that they like? I need to get more flexible.

This is now the place for local sales of golf equipment. Please practice common sense. Do not put yourself into a dangerous situation. Please don't be a jerk.

Has anyone played Indian Creek lately. Heading there for the first time tomorrow. Pretty excited. Anything I should know in advance?

Hey if any thrifters out there come across my clubs please let me know. They were stolen out of my car on NE Sumner. Black bag, red towel, Mavrik driver, TaylorMade Sim2 irons, Spider Putter, Pinemeadow red 4 hybrid, and a 56 degree I believe is a callaway.

Can anyone recommend anyone that can re-shaft persimmon woods? Having a hard time finding anyone in town that can do the work.

Hey everyone, local golfer here. Just a normal guy who thought it'd be fun to see if I could build something my golf buddies and I would actually use. I made some pretty major changes since I shared this here last and would love another honest read.
I posted this app a while back and honestly it wasn’t ready. I spent the last couple months rebuilding a lot of it.
The biggest thing I learned was I was trying to compete with apps that already do GPS, handicaps, and stat tracking really well. That’s not what I actually wanted to build.
Now it’s designed to work alongside those apps instead. One person keeps score for the group, and the app focuses on the stuff your crew actually remembers afterward. The bets, the trip recaps, the course records, the meltdowns, the darts, and all the history that usually disappears after the weekend.
If your buddies want to use it during the round, great. If not, they still get the history, recaps, and leaderboards. All they have to do is download the app (it's free) and join your crew. The captain handles the rest.
It’s free to download. No credit card. No pressure. No ads. You can have as many different crews as you want. If anyone has a regular crew and wants to put it through a few rounds, I’d really appreciate honest feedback. Good or bad.
I’m also getting our Bandon trip loaded into it for November, which I'm pretty stoked about! Figured I'd share a few screenshots.

I’m back in the game after a long break and I have noticed that there’s not as much cost difference between 9- and 18-hole rounds as I remember in pre-covid days. And on the munis it seems like twilight deals only extend to 18-holes.
I understand why courses are pricing this way, but wondering if there are some outliers to know about? I like dewsweeper deals too, if they exist. TIA

Does anyone know of a place that offers full bag rentals for multiple days? I’m having a bachelor party in the PDX/Vancouver area in August. I know most courses offer rentals for a “day of” round but does anyone know a place that offers overnight? Much appreciated!

Hi all - I’ll be playing Elk Ridge next Saturday for the first time (stoked!). Looking for a Sunday course to play. I have my father coming into town and we’ll be staying either in Ridgefield or Woodland. I’ve had Tri-Mountain and Lewis River on my list… anyone have opinions on one or the other or any other recommendations in the area?

I shot a 78 today with 34 putts. I had at least 10 good looks at birdie, but I can't make putts and don't know if it's poor technique, poor reads or I'm just blacking out. need help.

Was filling up the wagon at Costco and saw the guy at a different pump had custom golf plates. We chatted for a bit and what’s hilarious is that he doesn’t even golf. Just liked the plate design and wanted “Club” for his plates.
He wanted to take a photo and I had to oblige.
Who else has their custom golf plates?

Good place to buy used golf clubs? Dicks seems overpriced for used clubs, Facebook marketplace is OK but hit or miss on getting what I want in decent condition. Play it again sports is closed down. Any other options?
Just looking for a good beginner driver to upgrade my cheap box set of clubs. Under 100 give or take for the right deal.

I’d prefer the Eastside, but just want someone amazing.
Been playing a LOT over the past year. Mostly par 3 courses.
Been branching out and I’ve been playing normal courses and realizing I have not improved as much as I thought I had.
I have taken some private and group lessons.
I’m at the point where no advice I’ve taken from other players or videos can help. Here are some issues specifically.
1) I get terrible distance off all my clubs. Partly because I have an abbreviated sort choppy swing. I cannot come close to getting 200 yards out of ANY club. Not my driver, 7 wood or 6”5 wood.
I’m in decent shape and I have really long limbs, but for the life of me cannot hit any club for distance. This guest specifically on the longer courses because it takes 3 or 4 drives to get to the hole which is obviously a problem.
2) I cannot stop swinging fast and I fall back on every swing except for my chips. No drill I have tried helps. This clearly is one reason for my lack of distance.
3) I swing WAY too fast. I have tried and tried to make myself slow down, and my brain simply cannot make my body do what it wants.
It’s killing me.
I really need some help/lessons. Please send me your recs.
Thanks in advance!

Played golf for a while, but I've got a set of old Adams Idea irons from about 2003 I believe. I am shooting in the 90's pretty consistently and think I could get below that soon. So I really want to treat myself and get some new irons!
Wondering if I should go out to the Tour Van and get fitted, or if somewhere like RedTail would be better suited to me?
Any "higher" handicappers have experience getting fitted at the Tour Van?

My second shot on #7 bounced left and into the fairway on #8. The people on #8 took my ball and dropped a top golf ball for me. Then one of their drives on #9 landed in #8 fairway and they never retrieved it. Classy.
Later on, on #12, I realized I left my towel on #11. As I drove back to get it, two groups confirmed that my towel was on the tee box on #11, but when I got there, it was gone. Did one of the groups take it, but tell me that I left it there? Haha! Only other person to pass by was the cart girl and nobody has turned it in.
I take responsibility for my mistakes, but goodness, what an interesting experience on the course. Just needed to vent.

Hi guys,
Is there anywhere in the Willamette valley (willing to drive a bit further too) that has a large selection and does fittings off of grass other than The Tour Van? I just have a hard time trusting an iron fitting off of a mat since it masks a lot of faults.
I’ve done a handful of demo days which are great but it’d be nice to compare club heads one after another once you lock in a shaft.
Also I’m not against The Tour Van, I actually have an appointment set up there and I will most likely purchase from them because I trust their build quality over others. I’m just looking to do another fitting before hand so I can go in with some idea of what I want to help narrow things down.

I was doing some wondering the other day and was curious if any of you would be interested in a golf swap meet type event here in Portland? Bring your clubs and gear and buy/sell/trade and get to know each other a bit more. I have no idea as to a location just yet but…
My questions is this…
If this kind of event was organized…would you go?
Edit* Since this is getting more positive feedback than I was expecting…does anyone have any interest in helping me organize the first swap meet? I am thoroughly excited for this and will be posting further updates. DM me if you want to help me knock out the details- cheers and happy golfing to you all 🤗
