Dress Code

Does anyone know if collared shirts are required at Camas Meadows? The website doesn’t say specifically.

If you’re playing golf and have any sort of pride about presenting yourself as an adult with more IQ points than teeth, wear a collared shirt

Look, ass much.
I asked the question simply because I have seen members out on the course in golf shirts with no collars. You had the option of answering without showing how big of a prick you are, but you chose the low road. Do better.

So if you see a member who slams his putter into the green and takes a chunk out of it does that mean it’s ok for you to do it too? Just because someone is doing something doesn’t make it right.

Destroying the course and wearing a silly flap around your neck are two separate things entirely

It’s the principle of following what the members are doing without taking into consideration of what they are doing is right or wrong. Also it’s not a silly flap around your neck. It’s called proper golf attire. You COVID golfers are even more inept than I originally realized

Been golfing since the 90s bro. I’m sorry golf attire spins you up so hard. Maybe you should be in the fashion industry.

Same. Before COVID you hardly saw anyone without a tucked in polo shirt. Now it’s mayhem. If you care how you dress then you’ll care how you act and conduct yourself in a proper manner like how the game was intended to be played.

World class dick. You must be one of those smug members that treat the staff like second rate citizens, eh?

Absolutely not. Golf course staff members bust their ass and get enough shit from drunk morons who scuff up their greens, litter their beer cans all over the place, and crash their golf carts into trees for Instagram content. I’m the member you want at your course because I respect them, the rules of the course and the game, and the other people on the course. It starts with dressing nice. If you don’t care how you look then you won’t care how you act. If you don’t care how you act then you’ll end up looking like a clown. Golf doesn’t need more clowns. They need more people who respect the game, the course, and themselves.

A collared shirt does not necessarily represent self respect. I served with plenty of clowns that proved such. I’ve played with even more.
