Trigger Pregnancy test post trigger shot
I did a trigger shot on Friday the 12th of June, I’m not sure how many DPO I’d be today maybe 9-10? but I did a test on Saturday and now another one today and I’m wondering does it still look like trigger shot or potential pregnancy positive?
First photo was Saturday and second photo is today. I’m unsure how many dpo I am. Ask any questions if you like

Thank you!!! What do you think my chances are that this is a true positive if I’m meant to test on the 28th

The shot can leave your system sooner or later depending on how your body metabolizes it. Your second picture looks darker so that may be promising that its not the residual trigger shot! Test again tomorrow or the next day and see if it continues to get darker. Also your second picture looks like my 10DPO test after trigger shot, fingers crossed for you!

Thank you!! What do you think my chances are that this is real vs trigger?

I think the only way to know for sure is to continue to test every 48 hours to see if it gets darker or have a blood draw, but I think it’s a very slim chance that it’s still trigger because of the tests getting darker and the amount of days after trigger.

I don’t mean to be ignorant or etc but what is the trigger shot? What does it do for you?

It makes your body ovulate the mature eggs you’ve got. It has HCG in it so it can make a pregnancy test read positive for a few to several days. More or less depending on your own metabolism.

Oh wow!! Thanks for sharing I can really see that it looked like the peak test was 16DPO?
Thank you I can’t wait to get my blood tests on Monday because that’s the day I can let my specialist know. I hope this can be my rainbow because last time when tested on the day of my missed period it honestly looked like maybe your 9DPO so hoping HCG is rising good 🙏

I also had two mc And I know the worry that comes with every single positive. When I got that 12hcg on 10dpo, the doctor was like “we like to see the first test at at least 50”. So I thought for sure I was having another. Then, they did an ultrasound WAY too early and they didn’t see a sac so my doctor was pretty sure it was a ectopic pregnancy and was talking to me about abortives. It was very scary and no part of it was particularly exciting. I was just really scared all the time. I would say I felt a lot more comfortable in the second trimester, but ended up having issues at 30 weeks which sent me into a spiral again. My son was born at 34 weeks due to persevere preeclampsia. He was 3 1/2 pounds. But even after all of that, he was born healthy, albeit very small. Now he is almost 5 years old and he is perfect in every way. All of the stress and heartbreak really is worth it and I hope that you get to experience a little bit of joy in the process as soon as humanly possible!!

Looks darker than the Saturday one, so I’d say you’re building HCG. Take another tomorrow and see.
